You're right, I didn't actually mean you, I just think the market for Draymond is so limited as to be just about non-existent.

Literally a little over a month ago Lillard was requesting Portland to trade for Draymond.

The Heat were fairly open about inquiring for him last trade deadline.

He clearly has a market.

Sure, Lillard said that, it's not his money. Does the Portland FO really want to pay Draymond $77 million over the next 3 seasons? I'll believe it when I see it.

Would it be fair trade Draymond, Twolves pick maybe some youngsters for Ben Simmons?

Damn that’s a very good contract then. May make the market for him pretty competitive. Don’t know what Knicks would really want so hopefully the Knicks would let him have a say in where he goes and he’s like the opportunity to get minutes here.

6ers arent gonna go for that, they're winning and have no need to shake things up

What money? It’s a trade. If they give up matching salary what’s the problem?

And either way, teams always cater to their stars and make moves. We just did the same thing to MIN for DLO. MIL overpaid for Jrue for the same reasoning.

Just because we did not entertain trading him so nothing materialized doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Draymond still clearly has a market.

OK, there's always a market somewhere, I'll give you that. As far as matching salary in a trade, matching is for this year. I'm talking about 3 years from now when they're paying him $27.5 million. That's what they might think about before they make a trade.

Watched my first Thunder game in a while, or at least, 2nd half.. I turned down the idea of a SGA trade on the trade board a couple weeks back because I preferred a peak star, not a growing one..

whoops this kid is amazing

Well, after this, he won't be available for both Wiseman and the Wolves pick.

Somehow the Warriors will press on from this moment. Surprised it didn't make the news!

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

I think SGA's trade value might even be higher than Beal's due to his age and contract. OKC is banking on all of their future FRPs and could end up with 3 in the next draft alone and SGA will be the centerpiece of that young core. The only way I think we remotely stand a chance of trading for him is if Cade Cunningham falls to us at #4, which is unlikely, and we would also probably have to include Wiseman. I'm not saying its worth it, but I think that's how much he is valued by the Thunder.

SGA is playing well, in particular his 3-point shot is falling a lot better than it was in his previous seasons.

But we're only talking half a season now. He was horrible in the bubble.

For instance, KCP and Caruso started out the season shooting the lights out. They are still around 39-41% from 3 for the season.

But in the last 10 games, they're bricking their shots.

So SGA is going to have to show a couple of seasons worth of 50/40 splits. By then OKC may have to max him out when he finishes his rookie contract and becomes an RFA.

Alright, this works in the trade machine:

Bulls Get: Oubre, Paschall, Looney

Warriors Get: Thad Young, Satoransky

Gives us another big guard/wing who is a good defender, can create and hit shots. Young is also a good defender, can still score a little and can create off of the short roll or from the post. Losing Looney is tough but we can start Wiseman and then play Dray and Young at center for stretches during the game. Also the 3/2 trade lets us sign JTA to a regular roster spot. Both Young and Sato are signed through next season.

10 Man Rotation:

Curry/Sato
Baze/Lee/Mulder
Wiggins/JTA
Green/Young
Wiseman

Replace Paschall with Wanamaker and either the cash to cover the rest of his contract, or a swap of 2nds in 2022, I'd do it.
The only 2nd the Bulls have next year will likely come via the Lakers.
Meanwhile, we get extra salary slots to play with for next year (or either of them can be stretched for 1.5-2M per year).

We're giving the Bulls everything they want for players they want to get rid of. This isn't a good deal for us. I feel we can get way more or would be better off staying put with our players.

Then maybe the Bulls would throw in a pick. Satoransky and Young help this team immensely.

Do they? Young is shooting horribly and Sato is so underwhelming. By doing this trade, we're getting rid of Looney's contract and taking on more. I'd rather consolidate Looney's and Oubre's contract into a significant talent if possible. And Sato and Young aren't it. I also think that there's no use to trading Paschall at the moment. Trade him when his value is high or just keep him.
