 Totally unimpressed with him. Moves so awkwardly and I don't know how to explain it. Maybe like NBA players back in the 70s? Weird body type. Not very athletic. Seems undersized. Poor level of competition. If this is our guy.... BARF.

Is anyone still watching the GL Ignite team? Green is shooting up the boards. In the beginning everyone kept saying he is just a slasher/driver due to his athleticism. However past few games he has been showing some range.. he can do pull-ups, off the drible, catch and shoot etc etc.

I wouldn't mind him being our choice if we can't get Cade...

Green has that "it" factor. Our team could use that kind of excitement. We are a rough team to watch.

I do hope the Magic drafts a back-court player. If Orlando makes the play-in and makes the playoffs, then yes it is this range. With the hardest NBA schedule to close out the season, the Magic could easily close out the season as the about the 6th worst team and thus have the best odds to draft 7th (with a collective ~36% chance to draft top-4).

EDIT: at #7, Orlando looks to be considering between Jalen Green, Ziaire Williams, and Moses Moody. GIven Orlando's needs Moody slots in nicely. Scottie Barnes is absolutely the guy Orlando does NOT need.

If Orlando wins the draft lottery, does the team go with Jonathan Kuminga or Cade Cunningham? Assuming Fournier moves on and Gordon is traded, either fits team needs.

Cade, but it’s closer than expected.....honestly if you land top 5 you should be comfortable with any prospect you get....they all have high ceilings, in the top 5 there isn’t really a wrong decision

Cade or Suggs. Both can play either guard position. They can run and create offense. Someone will have to absorb that usage from Fournier. Isaac is the starting PF when healthy with Okeke backing him up.

Kuminga only makes sense to me if they believe he’s truly a SF at the next level that can space the floor and contribute with assist #s. Basically asking the question “does a Kuminga and Isaac pairing look great as our F’s?”

The bigger question is whether or not Ross steps in at SG if Orlando doesn’t draft Fourniers replacement.

sure but the premise of what i was saying is if you're in the top 5 and you miss out on one you shouldn't be upset....if you miss out on cade are you really going to be upset if you end up with suggs? or kuminga? or mobley? Green? i think i would be fine if anyone of those guys are the consolation prize

Maybe..but if you were total noob and didn't know anybody there, watching TEN games it's kinda Keon that would always draw your eyes to. Also, having insane athletic ability doesn't hurt.

But yeah, the TEN guards are both having an impact.

Number 7? Jalen Green? Sorry but as it is trending right now, Jalen Green might be unavailable at number 3 at worst.

Also..if we do get #7? I want all you guys to concentrate on Bouknight. Right now he is gimpy but if he is fully healthy.. I think he should be our pick.

Same..for now I have Bouknight after the top-5 but I know once Zaire gets his legs under him or when TEN makes some noise, both of them have a great chance to leapfrog him in my eyes

Honestly, Bouknight was completely off my radar.

I took your advice and watched some highlights.

Alright, I like what (little) I see. I’ll tune into some UConn games and try to catch some more.

Return to Orlando Magic
