I wonder how much better the entire forum would be with you banned.

Hmm...let me look into it.

Tutulu.

I personally have him on ignore. You should do it too so I don't have to see somebody quote that guy's inane rantings.

So, why are you posting on a message board if you want people to keep their opinions to themselves?

Mets 87 is the AJ Pierzinski of this board, he doesn't know what he's doing half the time and lives to get under people's skin....even if he is wrong with 99% of the things he does and says.

Bow down and move on? What is with this Napolean complex? Is it because you are MOD? How did you even become one is another question for another time.

I could seriously waste a lot of time reviewing countless posts where you overrate your team and have called a player a "giant forehead piece of crap scrub"(for example) but what is the point in doing that? You literally go insane every game and prove my point so there isn't really a reason to go through all that.

As for you assumption that I myself am "childish" because I made a topic insulting the Devil Rays, it is categorically wrong. I've always hated the franchise for being such a waste ever since it's inception. They have accomplished 0 in 10 years. They are just fodder and provide nothing to the league other than being a farm team for the other major league teams. I am just frustrated that they manage to beat us badly and they lose 7-8 run leads to Boston with the snap of a finger. Notice I didn't make fun of a players appearance or call anyone a scrub or go insane and post 7,000 exclamation points while also starting a topic stating my keys to the game which is also a gigantic block of text which is unreadable to any basic human being. But I digress...

Don't try and put words into my mouth. YOU are the one that is the homer. It is well known around RealGM. I mean you can venture onto the Bobcats board or the Off Topic board and even the Hawks board and they all know of a giant homer known as TKF. Maybe to you it seems like an insult but that's what you are. You are the one that is denying it. I am just stating the facts.

And the fact is you ranting incoherently, asking me to bow down, and calling me "homie" adds nothing to this argument and only cements the fact that you are what you are.

You took my post personally. This is a message board. Accept criticism and move on.

Thanks.

Bow down and move on? What is with this Napolean complex? Is it because you are MOD? How did you even become one is another question for another time.

yea, that is it, a napolean complex... LOL.. what a ridiculous comment.. anyway I guess I can question how you became a poster, but I will leave that for another time also... Try being original, that line is weak..

Anyway do you think I care what people on other boards think. I make strong opinions and I will stand by them, I take the good with the bad, but really teams like the hawks and bobcats are irrelevant, just as irrelevant as the devil rays in your eyes, so why do I care what their fans think. I live in atlanta and the Hawks are not even relevant to their fans here... So I don't uderstand you pointing out what their fans think of me is going to do. I don't care..

I guess it is Ok for you to rag on the Devil rays, but not Ok for me to rag on teams, bad teams that the knicks play, teams I feel we should beat? Double standard. Stop trying to defend your ridiculous actions, you haze a bad team for losing to a team that is leading the yankees by 5 games, Where is the credit due to boston? Stop being a hypocrite, Plain and simple. You took this opportuinity to try and call me out, but forgot about the pile of shyt you stepped in while doing so.

Notice I didn't make fun of a players appearance or call anyone a scrub or go insane and post 7,000 exclamation points while also starting a topic stating my keys to the game which is also a gigantic block of text which is unreadable to any basic human being.

dude that is your business, but I am sure the fans in tampa bay love the way you are dissing their team, again get over it and act like a damn man, if you don't like the way I post, then don't read it, it is for entertainment value, a lot of people read and participate in my keys, it is not for people like you and certainly not for fans of other teams. If you can understand that, you will be a lot better off, and maybe come off as less of a hypocrite....

You took my post personally. This is a message board. Accept criticism and move on.

No I didn't, I just thought it was out of line for you to make such a post directed at me when you were the author of this childish, tirade ridden thread about a team losing to a team that they are supposed to!!!!

Accept that, move on and you will be a better person for it bro...

Jackson has an electric arm. Shields and Kasmir are terrific. But Sonnastine and Hammel aren't. They are the definition of mediocre and have absolutely no future at the major league level as starters. I wouldn't have been pissed if we were shut down by Edwin Jackson, the kid has terrific stuff. Oddly, he is the only guy we whacked around. What I was pissed about is being shut down by a guy with such meager stuff (sonnastine) and a guy who is pretty much a reliever (hammel). No excuse for that. I acknowledge that even the worst of pitchers pitch games once in a while, but it shouldn't happen in a Yankee pennant race.

And the Devil Rays have lots of offensive talent.

great post, and I agree, kazmir and shields are real nice pitchers and the rays can hit, they are missing rocco baldeli who was out all year with a hamstring injury... LOL.. go figure.. anyway the other two pitchers sonnastine and hammel have no business shutting us down..... offensively the rays have talent, carl crawford is a beast..

I just posted this for abraham lincoln, just to show him how he has been quite dishonest in his post. This is a conversation about the devil rays between myself and cmaff, he said I don't give teams credit. Well I sure did, and did so against a bad team in the rays who has had a ton of success vs the yankees. Yet this is the same guy who accused me of being a homer while he hazed this devil rays team for losing to a team with a better record than us. Talk about not giving credit..... Talk about full of ...........................

don't worry there's hope....cmaff is the same guy who said Melky Cabrera had no future as an outfielder with the Yankees.

yea, but cmaff is a good poster and I am sure he will own up to that statement and admit if he is wrong. There is nothing wrong with making bold statements, just man up to them, at one time it did seem as if melky's future was in question, especially with his early struggles. It is all good, what bothers me is the hypocricy that abraham lincoln showed.

Wow, I really screwed that one up. :D Hey, we are all wrong sometimes.

TKF is a good poster. He has strong opinions, but that's what makes it so fun to read his posts...especially his Keys to the Game during the basketball season. Yes, the Rays suck overall (they do have some talent on that roster though) but what happened these last 2 games was pretty pathetic even for the Devil Rays. Like getting 0 hits in 3 innings off the great Julian Tavarez. Like letting J.D. Drew get on bases 4 out of 4 times. I have no problem with saying that the Rays bent down for the Red Sox and called them their daddies after this series.

And Sonnastine sucks. I'll be sure to bring up what you just said next season 34Celtic when Sonnastine gets released.

I agree with you 100% the rays were a joke and to lose those last two games was just sinful, even for the rays. But the problem I have with abe lincoln is that he took on this argument and then in the same breath called me a homer for saying ortiz was lucky on that homer. That is hypocritical! Ortiz was lucky, Delmon Young was an idiot, he turned the wrong way on a long pop fly and had he tracked the ball properly, it was an out! to say ortiz was lucky does not mean he is not a great clutch hitter, he was very lucky in that instance and it happens to every great player....

Why do people get so upset when somebody makes a statement they don't agree with? This wouldn't be a forum if we were all Yankee robots that just  to everything Yankees or :wavefinger: to everything Red Sox. Lighten up and just talk baseball, that's what we're here for.

Cmaff, thats fine, but at least I'm not afraid to see something in lesser talented players.

For my part, I don't have an issue with the contents of the post (hell, that's what a message board is for), but I have a problem with the way it is posted.

Disagree with someone? Fine.
Attack him on a personal level and act like you are better than him? I will speak out against that. And it doesn't matter if said person is a mod or not.

EDIT: typo
