Even with the hardest schedule (which doesn’t factor in stars sitting out at the end of the season) we aren’t worse then the teams currently ahead of us in the draft order. Washington is still up in the air imo as well, especially if Beal gets moved.
I see it as another year where we will be reaching for talent outside of the top 5. Being in no mans land as a franchise just doesn’t get me excited.
I'm hoping you're wrong. Especially since we're now the 6th worst team again with an increasingly difficult schedule ahead. I could see Houston and Sacramento passing us again. Especially when Christian Wood is healthy again. I think it will be tough to catch the Cavs. But the Wizards are currently better than us and have looked great recently. Hopefully they can keep it up.
The scary thing is what the team does when we start getting players like AG and Anthony back. Hoping that we make some moves to help with the future but not this season. Not holding my breath with this FO though.
