And then you have this above example where they have no idea what to do when it's not something else than what I said.

You said they have "two and half players worth mentioning", which is ridiculous.

Yes because casuals care about dunks, highlights plays etc. There is reason why Mitchell or Gobert arent in MVP convo. Basketball is team game.

Nope. AK wouldn't have taken the job if he wasn't allowed to waive guys like Kornet/Felicio/Arci.

AK chose not to do that and it was quite clearly a mistake.

I don't think that really factors in. AK didn't make a ton of moves when he first went to Denver, they waited til year 2 and 3 to begin the complete overhaul of the roster. Even Connelly when he came in and made moves still didn't fully gut everything until AK was there and in his 2nd or 3rd season as a Nugget exec.

Not saying the Kings should be good, but they should definitely be better than this. And last year he was probably even worse.

He always cozies up to one part of the FO and they fight for him to stay on.
He is a meh HC at best. I think the Kings simply want to stop with so much coaching turnover and wait to hire a top notch talent for the next hire since they are building around Fox.

He was referring to breaks and we have played at a disadvantage most of the season by the same logic.

I'm just saying it's on AK.

He decided to keep the end of the bench guys around (even decided to retain Denzel on a QO), instead of bringing in new blood (specifically a PG).

This pisses me off. NBA can’t even admit they are wrong.

Kevin Garnett on Michael Jordan:
“Whenever I see Jordan he does the same thing every time...He palms my head and he says, ‘Remember the game I gave you 40 in three quarters?’ And then he has this sidekick around him and he’s like, Pull that up.”

I thought Rubio was passing when the play happened, and our announcers of course were braying that, but on the replay it seemed that he was shooting. Which was the only sensible play, since they were down 3 and time was running low.

Excellent game in Miami tonight, the Heat took down Utah. Miami has now won 5 straight, it has its players back and looks once again like an Eastern contender.

Really feel like old man yelling at clouds, but the decision to mix up home/away colors for the hell of it is the dumbest thing the NBA has ever done. Especially with fans out. Thing is, the NBA as a league doesn't do that many dumb things (they're usually just urged to adapt to outside circumstances). I don't know if this was just a wardrobe mistake, but good grief.

Yeah, I also err with giving Rubio the 3 FTs. Rookie (er sophomore) mistake on Coby there. First off, I'd sooner dare Rubio to shoot the 3P than step in his space behind the arc. I generally think it's really risky and stupid planning to intentionally foul in closing time, unless some dud center is holding the ball. The way I see it, you risk a 4-pt play (at worst) if a playmaker is dribbling. A crafty guy like Rubio is sooner going to try and bait a foul than sink a step-back 3Per.

Dinwiddie is now available per wiretap. He's more of shoot first point guard, but more of a point guard than Coby at this point of career.

EDIT: nevermind, he's out for season (partial ACL year). Should've done my research first.

But, worth mentioning, DeAndre Jordan and Dinwiddie fill 2 role we're lacking, a big man to clog the lane and operate around the rim, and a capable point guard. Both are on relatively good contract. DJ is on the decline, but he's on a Sato type contract for this year and next 2 years. Dinwiddie's contract is similar, but his will expire after next year.

He's out for the rest of this year with his ACL tear. Should be good to go at the start of next season. Most players recover fully from an ACL, plus he's just 27 years old, so he's probably a pretty safe bet. Sure, I'm for that, because a LaVine/Dinwiddie/Coby trio would take care of the guard position.

Sure, I'm up for that, if the trade price is right.
