Fantastic...how delusional do you have to be to say this? NBA coaches determined that a player is worthy of this level of recognition and yet YOU can still double down on your narrative and refuse to accept that he’s a very good player. :noway: :noway:

One can make a viable case that Vuc should be traded or rested or untouchable, but this is pure moron.

To be fair, the all star teams fill by positions so it's not apples to apples Vuc > Trae. There are way fewer talented big men to compete against than guards.

I never said Vuc is “better” than Trae...this board is as stupidly polarized as American politics, everybody’s got their narrative-facts be damned.

I am not a “Vuc lover”. I would trade him in a second for a return that makes sense. I am aware that he’s 30 and that he’s not a great defender...I’m just sick of hearing the lazy take that our mediocrity is somehow his fault and that removing him makes us instantly better...even at 30, he’s-by a mile or two- our best asset, whether on the court or in a trade. He is a great complement to Isaac (at PF)(if he can get healthy)going forward, so I’d prefer to focus on the rest of the roster which, frankly, are backups on a decent team.

Listening to Coach Clifford indirectly state that Bamba cannot guard pick and roll plays is instructive. As that is the most common NBA play, it means coach thinks Bamba is not a good defender at all.
