will be a nice test for JFro, not sure I can bring myself to watch this damn line up any more though. Unless both guards and Okoro start really taking advantage of open looks when the paint is clogged or finish at the damn rim when the opportunity is there its pretty much unwatchable basketball when JFro aint in there or they are not running which rarely happens with DG out there. I will give him credit for realizing he needs to run more though of late although not too successfully when he tried if he would just do that more often they would up the odds to have an easy 20 points every game from Sexton and Okoro etc that they are not getting.

Teams have now scouted Sexton not to pass, and Garland to pass. If the other team starts defending those inside-out passing lanes, that's when those back cuts are open.

Every time McGee tries to play guard it ends poorly.

The Sixers appear good with not getting back in transition defense. I'm good with Sexton dropping 50 on them if that's how the want to play.

I don't know if Windler qualifies as a good defender, but he's a pesky defender out at the perimeter.

Sexton passing up the open 3, dribbling 5 feet in to miss a long 2, aka the Jarrett Jack, is going to be the death of me.

In defense of both Sexton and Garland, they have dead legs and we need a legit backup.

Wade is starting to grow on me, but someone needs to introduce the young man to a weight bench this off season.

I'm so used to watching Cavs players do clueless things, some solid D might just seem DPOY quality by comparison.

I'm now convinced he can hang around for small ball lineups, but T. Harris didn't play.

Main use of a stretch-4 is to pull an opposing big out of the paint especially one that can help the C protect the rim.

I suppose it shouldn't surprise us that JBB can coach defense. His schemes seem competent if not always effective. Guys are generally in position to try to defend

You could see Philly adjust to that in the second half when they stayed home on the outside shooters. The next step is to have Sexton and Okoro run some back cuts off that action and the Cavs will have something resembling an NBA offense.

Lots of wrinkles they could add if the schedule wasn't compressed and there was practice time ... instead we see Darius and Collin trying to score on their own when they are trying to deal with something new.

Maybe it was Delly in his ear, but Darius adjusted and started finding more space to drive and score even sneaking past Embiid.
