Embiid is at the top for me. He has the numbers and the team record.

Before I had Jokic there with him, but his team is currently 8th seed in the west. No matter how you look at it, that won't cut it. He dropped to the second group:

Lebron
Curry/Kawhi
Lillard/Jokic

Roughly in that order, but with veeery little separation.

The other candidates are ruled out by team record (Luka), team setup (Harden) or narrative (Giannis, Harden again).

Exactly, the Bron stans like to make up narratives that differ from what our eyes are telling us. He's declined significantly and they say that ITS THE BEST HE'S EVER PLAYED! It's laughable.

lol facts..lebrons PER is on Zions level..the real MVP's numbers are crazy compared to lebron's..Jokic is legit missing 3-4 rotation players and keeping afloat a stacked West

lebrons nowhere near #2...and yes a bronsexual would put him 2 to help him from not getting fully laughed at

That's correct @ +150 the last time I checked two days ago but I expect Lebron to slide down a couple of spots. I expect James Harden and Giannis to climb.

MVP award tracker does a pretty good job as a metric given that it doesn't account for narrative or other bull ****.

Bronsexuals want to give the appearance of objectivity, while still making outrageous claims.

Joker flirting with the cheeky half time triple double.

Edit: 10/8/9 at the half with 0 to’s. Not bad.

With the way this MVP race is shaping up, we may need to look at it from different angles. If you removed these guys from their teams (LeBron, Embiid, Jokic, Kawhi, Harden etc) for 20 games and left them otherwise full strength..I honestly think the Nuggets go damn near 0/20. Could you say the same for the other teams?

There is one player that you forgot to put on the list for whatever reason. His team is currently ahead of the Nuggets, and they were dead last in the NBA last season.

Not trying to leave anyone out man. You talking Curry? Otherwise full strength team still includes Klay and Dray, I still think they win more games out of the 20. He’s definitely carrying his team though, and deserves recognition. I just don’t see him winning another MVP this year..but who knows. Lillard also been going hard this year, but their full strength sides includes CJ (who was absolutely balling pre injury) and Nurk too.

Embiid not being defended by slow weird looking white centers (Baynes, Baynes, boban). Finally breaks out of 3 game slump shooing less than 25%.

Tonight 42/13/6/2. Monster stat line....but sixers lose to lowly cavaliers at home. Missed jumper at end of regulation to win the game. Sixers team isn’t that good. They likely fall to 3rd seed by end of the regular season. Which is Will hurt Embiid chances.

Nobody is winning MVP if their team is not at least top 2 in the conference.. some of y’all are tripping with your rankings, putting dudes floating around .500 on there lmao

I don’t even think he’s leading right now but I think he wins it before the end of the season. You went from a fan to obsessing over how much you don’t like him and his fans. It stems from something and I don’t even wanna know. Sad stuff. Work on that, it might consume a lot of your time, sport

Still anyone's game. No runaways.
If 76ers stay top seed, embiid probably gets it.
If lakers get back to 2 seed, or even 1st then lebron is a possibility. Same with KL.
If nuggets, blazers, or warriors can get to the 3rd seed that's a stronggggg case for jokic lillard or curry given the supporting cast.
If kd comes back and nets destroy the league, maybe KD.
Only person would be greek freak. He is a top player but voter fatigue is real. He would have to blow away the competition to win.

So he has one game after he won 8 straight and that disqualifies him?
