Chicago went from being a 57 win team to being a 55 win team without prime MJ. The True GOAT.

Lebron makes the Finals because the NBA ensures it. They hitched their wagon to him 15 years ago and made him the face of the league. He didn't win squat when he was the only star in CLE. It took a pathetic Eastern Conference the weakest it's ever been and him forming a super team with Wade and Bosh and even then he needed a fluke play Allen three to win one of those chips. Then him getting Kyrie and Love AND Kyrie hitting the shot AND the NBA rigging the Finals for CLE to beat GSW. Then the joke bubble championships when the Clippers conveniently lost and he had a top 5 player and MVP candidate in AD. He's not top 5 let alone GOAT. FOH
Literally, I don't understand how anyone can make the argument for LBJ to be the GOAT, when the dude's been only winning with another top 5-10 player on his squad. And imo he's never defeated the odds, once. Not to mention Jordan having more team and individual awards in 15 yeas than LBJ has in 18... Everything points to Jordan easily being the better basketball player. This narrative that LBJ is the GOAT is one of the silliest, ever. How can you be better than someone when you don't have 70 of his accomplishments in a longer, softer career where you've been manipulating an entire league(players, trades, etc) in order for you to win...
I don’t like LeBron at all but are we just going to ignore MJ playing next to Pippen throughout his entire championship runs?
You need high talent around you in this league to win a title.
I mean even tho again LBJ has picked his teams/players/coaches and the entire NBA has kissed that dumbo's ass, again he's still not close to Jordan's personal or team accomplishments. He'd need to win until he's 39 to get to Jordan's title # in a fairly underwhelming league.

Listen, dude, LBJ's teams become **** after he leaves, because he sucks every bit of resource they have- picks/young talent/etc. It's addition by substraction with LBJ. So that doesn't mean anything. I can't remember Jordan trading Bulls' picks for half a decade and then leaving the team when they don't have top tier talent to offer?

5 straight ECF or better seasons in a row and he leaves and they don’t get out of the 2nd round

Mind you, without sucking the life out of the franchise. Every pick and young prospect they have the way LBJ has done time and time again. The teams LBJ leaves are broken down, cause they have no picks or assets once he's gone and he will be gone as soon as he faces adversity:
1.First stint with CLE- traded all their picks for Jameson, Mo Williams and other dudes. Wasn't enough, left, they had no picks.
2. Went to MIA with Wade and Bosh. Bosh had that condition, LBJ again forced them to trade their picks and shift- Heat were trash for about 3 years.
3. Went back to CLE. Traded some of their picks for Love. Irving decided he doesn't wanna play with LBJ any more, LBJ didn't have the frontrunning squad he usually would-> left CLE went to LAL.
4. Played one year without proven star players in LAL cause NOP **** with his plans to get Davis the first year he was in LA. Was on pace to win 42 games before getting hurt and missing the playoffs. The entire LAL fanbase hated the guy that first year. He took the year off and missed 20 games(or was it 22) for an injury that needs 2-3 weeks to heal. He just didn't want to play with these young guys, cause he knew he wasn't winning anything and doesn't wanna get hurt, despite his empty talk of "fatigue doesn't exist".
5. Traded for another top 5 talent in Davis, traded their picks for what 5-6 years. Came out with multiple articles via his agent that Davis wont re-sign in Boston, cause he was scared he wont get the chance to have that top 5 player/teammate. Davis goes down, the Lakers look like a play-in team.
See a pattern here?

CLE got Mo Williams for Joe Smith and Damon Jones who were both over 30 and played 20 mpg for them the season prior. They got Jamison for 33 year old Ilgauskas and the 30th pick in 2010. Lmao at your pathetic attempt to slander Lebron.

Jokic and Doncic. Literally impossible to defend that combo.

They're fine defensively. Also who cares, defense is so overrated. It's not like they are even worse than average defenders. Why does everyone say these guys are bad defenders? Jokic defends the paint really well, he's nimble as ****. Both fantastic defensive rebounders who are strong as hell. Yeah, they aren't Ben Simmons and Giannis defensively.

Yea, the GOAT literally missed the playoffs the one season he didn't play with a top 5-10 player next to him in the past 10-12 years. No idea if you're trolling or being serious. There's just no comparasion there. You can't be better than a guy who's done more than in you in a shorter career on every level. If LBJ ended his career after year 15, I doubt he gets the nod over Bird. I actually believe LBJ is a lot closer to Bird than Jordan. If Bird had modern medicine and training/conditioning, I think he'd easily have a career that tramples LBJ's. Also, both Bird and Jordan were bad **** who would take LBJ's lunch money. Dude's soft as a pillow.
Bird's 3 year peak >>>> LBJ's steroid peak, imo, even statwise.

I know that it says 2 Players on the picture.
But of the 10, I would actually pick 4 of them.
Luka - Tatum - Giannis - Joker.
That's a really flexible Starting Lineup.

Re: Around the NBA (Non-Celtics) 2020-21, Part 1
Good for Bird, he was no longer a top-5 player by age 31-32. LeBron is 35 and just won a title as the best player on the floor. Are we talking GOAT or who had the best 3 year peak?
Yeah, he missed the playoffs in 2019 in the first season of his career with a real injury, at age 34. So they tanked the last few weeks of the season. How many injuries did Bird or MJ have? Then he came back the next year after people said he was nearing the end and won it all pretty easily. Wow, he had AD on his team. How many HOFer did Bird get to play with? MJ? LeBron has been **** on his entire career, feel kind of bad people can watch this guy for 18+ years and not enjoy that you are watching the GOAT. No other player in history can you just take and put on a team and instantly they are title contenders. 2015-16 going against the most insane team in modern NBA history, Kevin Love the second-best player on the team, still wins.

It's really hard to follow your conversations. Because you tend not to quote the person that you're responding to.
It's also hard to enforce Quoting. Since you as a Retired Mod, do it almost all the time.
Is it possible that you could focus your conversations a bit more, by quoting people?

I mean it's literally one post down. But yeah. I just hate pages that are the same quote box like 10 times, takes up so much space.
