To be fair if Brown was 5 inches taller we wouldn't have gotten from for Dzanan Musa

Smart move. IMO Cook is a definite upgrade over Vonleh.

I've read some tweets suggesting Cook was the best player in the G-league bubble this year.

I mean Vonleh didnt play so either way it works out. I cant say im farmiliar with cook. the highlights look good but highlights usually do. is he a jeff green type? A Brown type? RHJ? is he a big guard? a small big?

he looks more like a small big to me

Looks and sounds like a bigger version (6' 8"/255 - 7' 1" Wingspan) of Bruce Brown.

Doubtful he's that good or he would have been in the NBA all year, but sometimes GM's sleep on a guy who can help them off the bench and Sean Marks has a pretty good track record of finding those guys. 8-)

 giving up Bey aside, that was really bad. Brown is the perfect compliment to the Big 3.

Never heard of this guy before but the tape looks like he's at the very least an exciting player. With that athleticism Harden can easily get him a few buckets a game rolling to the rim.

No doubt Marks is targeting energy, physicality and athleticism in all these 10 day signings. This team has more than enough shooting and finesse.

The Knicks are contemplating a trade for Andre Drummond.

LOL You know this is sheer jealously of the Nets and fear they will land him if he's bought out.

If they do this, I just hope the Cavs pick their pockets.

76ers are in the hunt for Kyle Lowry.

I hope they don't get him because he always plays well against the Nets.

I'm sure the 76ers (and Miami) are both well aware of that.

Id prefer he not go to miami. that could potentially make them a tough out.

Philly is trash. there is no playoff team id rather face with or without lowry. they have cultivated a losin culture and teams who rely on bigs as 1st options cant win in todays nba.

Is there any way to get PJ Tucker without giving up too much? He is tough and would play better than he is now. I almost feel he is trying to not get traded to a team other than Harden since they are best friends.

Dinwiddie for Tucker might be too much but i think we could structure something with Tucker/McLemore for him.

Tucker plus Nwaba would make us much better defensively. Nwaba is also a good cutter with hops at the rim. Tucker would be deadly in the corner again. Rockets don’t have penetration anymore like they did with harden. Then use TPE for a backup big. Maybe McGee.

I meant MLE for McGee. He is a good rim protector and all we need especially if we had Tucker helping as well.

I totally forgot they have Nwaba. Hell Yes. That would be the ultimate dream trade situation and possibly getting our pick swap back or a pick back.

Nwaba was a huge piece for us last season before he tore his achilles.

If Griffen n DET are close to buyout, is he the last piece?

With Claxton playing so well though, I think we can be a lot more selective in terms of who we go after, instead of trying to sign up any big man with a pulse. They would need to prove they deserve playing time over Jordan and Claxton, otherwise what, we'd force ourselves to play a big body at the expense of Claxton?

I do agree though, that if we have to face say Philly, and they have someone like Embiid, we need someone bigger than Claxton to guard him. I don't think Griffin is the answer though. Honestly, in that sense, picking up Cousins for spot minutes against a big man like Embiid would be fine.

And if Claxton proves he can shoot from 3, and be used as a stretch 4 on offense, then we could play with another big man and not eat into his playing time.

He's an intriguing name, for sure.

I never believed the rumors of a buyout, with so much money sitting on the table next year. It seems the rumors are coming to fruition, Blake is walking away from a suitable chunk of money just to be in a better situation.

He's playing like a shell of himself. The right team could gamble, and see if that's merely motivation, he might have a Batum resurgence in a winning organization with a defined role. I don't know that we have such a role for him.

At the 4, Griffin adds playmaking and a bit of shooting, but his exceptional athleticism is gone. From a run/jump standpoint, he's just a guy now. He also can't switch effectively.

For our needs, I would put Rondae higher in priority. But Blake is worth a look, and some team may unearth a diamond.

Think Blake is a terrible fit in Brooklyn.

His only positive as a player right now is his playmaking at his size and that's not something you need with scary hours on the team already.

Can't catch lobs, can't shoot 3s consistently, low energy on the boards and D. No thanks

Yea doesn’t help the fact we give up 50.5 points in the paint for the 3rd most(or even the fact that teams know to drive hard on us). Also doesn’t help that we are 1st in opponent 2nd chance points at 15.
