Wonderful performance from Arsenal today. After conceding early they really dominated the rest of the match and deserved the win.

Romeu out for the season for Southampton.
They've been hit excessively by injuries and they were playing so well with attractive football. Unfair.

Boring game though.
ugh, the game was terrible
fred and mctominay make me want to kill myself, especially when they just sit on top of the CBs
i was super surprised we didnt get the penalty, seemed pretty cut and dry, hand above his shoulder away from his body and the ball clearly hits it
but we're man yoo, not getting a penalty shouldn't mean we look like ass for basically the whole game
james looked nice and active though, while greenwood was invisible
passing from everyone was trash
massive clearance from shaw right off the hop
we need a freaking CB so badly

The handball was a joke. what is the difference between that and the N'Didi penalty in the Arsenal match?

And I've never seen Fred have a good game (not that I watch that many Manu games).

Ole always puts more defensive players in the squad in big games.
Man Utd did not score a single goal against Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City this season.
Ole bottles big games.

Yeah, it's certainly not the man united way.
im happy that we are getting results this year, and in most games we're starting to play more like the style we are accustomed to... but that stat is telling
hopefully pogba come back soon
fred is ok, but his passing is just ok, he breaks up play ok, but for the excitement he shows for shooting the dude cant hit the freaking net, like basically ever... regardless of what foot he hits it with

Amartey is a bombscare tonight. No control. we need him off and Fofana on. 4 at the back and Hamza off with Tavares on. We can win this but not playing out from the back with 2 midfielders playing CB.

Don't know if any of you watched Burnley Leicester bu it would have been a great watch for neutrals We were dangerous at both ends.

Re: Premier League 2020/2021
so i don't consume much punditry, i basically just watch the man u games on DAZN, but with our offence sputtering i havent once heard mention of pogba being hurt
it's obvious that he is critical to our success, is it normal for uk analysis to not talk about guys that arent playing? it sounds dumb when i reread that, but with the disaster that the midfield has been the last little bit you'd think there would be some mention of it
and Ole playing 2 CDMs against crystal palace is totally **** stupid... play fred there, bring on one of the kids on the wing and push greenwood more central, now maybe i play too much fifa but come on...

I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it, grateful I did because I watched United vs. Palace after that and found it to be absolutely dreadful.
There was a moment where Tielemans was in on goal and he tried to cut it back rather than shoot, I feel like that was Leicester's moment to win it, along with the post hit. Burnley were also excellent and had the chances to win albeit against a depleted side, they couldn't have been any worse than they were against Spurs, and Schmeichel wasn't having any of it. I also noticed a lot of players on both teams were slipping on the surface, the conditions made it into a game that favoured attacking football.

The football coverage over here has completely gone to pot, and is more about driving narratives than any kind of comprehensive analysis, particularly on Sky. Sadly even previously good analysts like Gary Neville talk a load of arse at this point, and they'll conveniently leave out talking points that don't coincide with Sky agendas. It sounds paranoid but that's what it's come to. Redknapp has always been unbearable, and while Keane, Souness and Evra are entertaining for arguments, I don't look to them for their insight. Micah Richards and Carragher are pretty good though.
The established Sky axiom is "Pogba bad", so anything short of Pogba turning into a Ballon d'Or level player again won't move the needle.

England really has a bright future if they appoint a decent manager who dares to exploit all that talent.

From the Reds unbeated run at Anfield - to the Reds beaten run at Anfield.
First time in LFC history we've lost 5 in a row at home in the league.
Just to rub some salt into the wound. Haven't scored in open-play in more than 10 hours at Anfield. Or haven't scored in open play at Anfield since 2020.
At Anfield in 2021;
6 games. 1 draw. 5 losses. 1 goal scored (penalty vs City), 9 goals conceded.

It's bad but you've got a lot of injuries and your game relies on stamina and pressing.
What has surprised me is your woeful scoring. You have no excuse there with the forwards your team has fit to play.

They will just replace Southgate with another spineless FA yes man. Wouldn't surprise me if he picked Lingard over Foden at this point.

Supposedly Salah's manager tweeted something during the match or afterwards.
