I’m just saying what I think will happen irl, if another team with an elite role player obliges, not necessarily what I want to happen.
And yes he looks fantastic, but let’s keep it real here, all of us fans do this all the time. When a guy is brand new and no tape on him and is also legitimately talented, and has a string of great games, we automatically compare him to absurd names, and even when trying to balance our bias, assume he’ll be a ridiculously good role player or whatever.
Now he certainly might prove that right!
But he also might just stay getting injured, or once on the floor consistently, get exposed.
I digress though, because... again, I don’t even have much of a preconceived opinion on him either way, but to be honest with myself, if Orlando says, “We’ll give you Gordon and Birch for Dinwiddie and Claxton.”, Marks is almost certainly accepting that offer, no matter what either of us think.
