sandy did a great job restocking the triple a system, too many times last year brodie traded lower level prospects just to get a mediocre pitcher for 10 innings.

this is going to be the starting rotation in AAA

peterson(possibly, depends if they sign a starter or decide peterson is a reliever)
luchessi
mcwilliams
yamamota
szapucki

all those pitchers other than peterson(who's pretty good) are serviceable.
LOL Y U MAD THO?

Lugo to undergo elbow surgery to remove some bone spurs. The good news is that it's not more serious and that once removed he'll be even better. Anyhow ...

Mets sign Kevin Pillar. Good signing. Gives us more roster versatility. Crow-Armstrong looks like Ralph Malph's grandson.

Imo the team is now complete with walker.

It’s not sexy but he’s a proven backend guy whose had good years. It’s crazy how much deeper sandy operates than brodie. Last year we scrapped the bottom of the barrel on low upside guys for the backend

Porcello and wacha

Now we got so much younger and with more upside guys

Walker lucchesi Yamamoto

Dudes who can also be bullpen pieces and won’t cry if they have to be relievers

BVW was a bad choice and he certainly made at least one very bad trade. But I think we still have to include the Wilpons ... just because.

Looks like this is the team pending a deadline deal to bolster a weak link or cover for an injury. Hey, is Kelly Johnson still around?

Trading Kelenic is going to haunt me forever...BVW sucks.

The team being really good will keep me from thinking about that trade.

ROSTER

Nic Claxton/Walker Kessler/Jeff Green
Nikola Jokic/Jonathan Kuminga/Dean Wade
Cam Johnson/Josh Hart/Kenrich Williams

Yeah, it's really going to suck watching him put up numbers for the Mariners. Especially when they come to Queens. Oh, the pain! How many more years before he can be a free agent? I think he really wants to be a Met.

Hey, we also gave up that pitcher, Dunn (?), from my alma mater, BC. I seem to recall that he was moving along in the minors nicely, last I read.

Stroman was Strongman today. 6 up, 6 down. Fangraphs indicated that his release point was perfectly consistent in this outing. Dingers from McNeil and Almora. Mets win 2-0

Luis Guillorme with a 22 pitch AB in which he worked out a walk. I love this guy. He’s such a dawg and has really improved.
