I would like to trade multiple assets for Morant. This is kind of opportunity to go all in. Because until now he was likely untouchable. Now could be different. He is not name like KAT but I like him a lot.

There is no trade scenario where you can come away with Morant. I suppose a Zach/Pat/Coby/Lauri/FRP offer gets them to answer the phone, for a 2-minute conversation that ends with "no." Too early for them to move on; he's the pillar of their build. Since JJJ looks like yet another talented big man with chronic knee problems, MEM has nothing going for it outside of Morant's potential. They've assembled a decent cast of talent, but they're nothing without Morant.

If the two teams had a conversation, it would consist of Memphis offering a bunch of non-Morant stuff for Zach, and the Bulls offering a bunch of non-Zach stuff for Morant. What any rebuilding organization would want is the two of them, together, and for that combination the rebuilding organization would be willing to move pretty much everybody else.

So yeah, no such deal will happen.

Brian Windhorst writing clickbait about stars coming to the Knicks. Is this 2010? Is Knicksgod coming to talk **** on our board?

Man, the word "Star" is so vague when it comes to sports. Brian could be talking about anybody from Tyler Herro to Montrez Harrell. What Brian should have been talking about are impact/superstars players.

Zach Lavine is on that short list. I don’t see a way to turn this ship around quickly around. The only way to do
that is to have balls and risk pissing off Zach in the short run, in order to clear the deadbeats, acquire good FAs, and draft a few solid contributors to the draft.

Right now, standing pat and trying to chase that outside of a chance playoff $$& is a 100% chance way to loose Zach for nothing.

I guess alot of people were overreacting last night when you figure the Nuggets are up 21 against the Bucks in the first half right now. We were better than we thought.

Absolutely, the team is night and day from last season. We are actually competition and in games more often than not against any level of competition. Which just don't have the experience or quite frankly talent to quite yet get over the hump with beating the better teams around the league, and that's understandable.
Why so serious?

Giannis stinks he isn't a starting NBA center.

Ja of the over 500 Grizzlieswho haven’t had JJJ at and were without Jonas and other stretches.... who put up35/10/5 tonight? That Ja....?

And the Zion of the 15-19 Pelicans who, while still a phenom, is on a team with more talent, still has defense issues (where both guys come with injury concerns), but hasn’t had as much success so far?

I’ve never really taken a position in a Ja vs. Zion debate... Zion has the higher upside, but (injury aside), higher risk... both guys serious talents...

to suggest people couldn’t make a good faith case for Ja... that is silly.

Why? Because the Pels beat the Jazz? Not too long before that the Bulls beat the Pels (and so did the Pistons and struggling Mavs).

The Nets are going to be so tough to stop in the postseason.

Presumptive eastern conference champs. Milwaukee, Boston, Toronto, Miami have all taken a step backwards (though could rebound, maybe)... only obstacle is Philly (if healthy).

That's correct he's not, he's a PF.
Jokic was defended by Lopez & Bobby Portis against the Bucks. Giannis defended him once for some reason, maybe a switch.

This board's apparent belief and Jokic that Embiid could be stopped with 1v1 defense if we just had a bigger center is ... amusing.

That said, Wendell pretty clearly has established himself as a 3rd big -- a tweener who can come off the bench in either the #4 or #5 position. A Bobby Portis level of player. So yeah, the Bulls will be seeking to upgrade at the #5 spot.

What is this business about Morant and Williamson, now?

Also NJ is going to be a force in post season based on what? Irving and harden have always done this in regular season & then went on to get crushed in playoffs or in Irving’s case injured. Terrible take. They won’t do anything per usual. As for the other teams they’re coasting & trying to maintain health, Milwaukee learned their lessons about blowing their load in the reg season

I basically said during the game thread when everyone was complaining, that when we come back and win what then? Well we did come back but lost it at the very end.

My point was the team isn't trash, its just flawed. It's a big difference.

Trash teams or teams that lack talent dont be consistently in games late. Zach Lavine has the most clutch points this year? Why? Because the Bulls have played the most clutch games of the year. We are basically in every game.

Now the hope is that AKME find a way to get the guys in that can change the flaws of the team. I believe once those things are done, we will be significantly better.

Not saying he is. But rarely any player is on market until he is on market. He is having bit down year. Grizzlies dont look so hot. Last year he was viewed untouchable. I am sure if Bulls offer package of unprotected picks for Morant as they would do in some KAT scenario for instance, Grizzlies are picking up a phone at least. This aint happening last year
