Well looks like i should have stuck to my first prediction of 12 wins. Dre really fell off a cliff after the trade , nance being hurt is killing them and they are playing the young guards together too much to expect to win much more than that. Its disappointing but im not that surprised

I though we would've hit exactly 15 and it definitely looked like we were well on the way for it. Injuries, Exum going down and then being involved in the Allen trade, Drummond becoming a Me-First player due to Allen being brought in. Just so much happened in a short period of time.

I attribute most of it to stopping the stagger after the return from injuries and having to add 2 new players to the rotation messed with dre and somewhat cedi then losing larry was the biggest full contact blow.
Overall the trade as good as it is for this roster going forward probably is the biggest domino.
Now what though is the question... Is it personel change beyond dre or is it just work until it works. I give them maybe 3 wins to finish the 38 at this point

Well my exactly 15 wins in the first 38 is still alive. Need 2 wins for in the next 4 to hit 15...

I had us just under 15, but I do feel like we're picking up some cheap wins. Both on the front and back end of the first half. We're the team you think you can rest guys against. Some other teams are getting caught slipping.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

At 14-21, the Cavs need just one more win in the next 3 for us to hit my predicted 15, and 2 to go over 15. This is while playing a tough schedule so far.

Oh, we had some advantages (if you want to call it that) going in, given we hadn't played in months and have a young team that doesn't need to "load manage" much. Still, our injury situation has been bad, and while Drummond getting traded was an obvious curveball - him getting flat out benched and replaced with Jarrett Allen? Not so much.

Lack of pre-season and practice time does favor teams that already know what they're doing, but only if they're all healthy and playing together.

Beating a team that still has John Wall and Victor Oladipo sounds pretty impressive until you realize those are just names, and they're not playing much like they used to before their injuries.
