Long term lurker, was an OG in the JSOnline forums, signed up recently, this my first post. I'll give you one stock pick and one crypto pick.
The stock pick won't necessarily have the highest ROI when it's said and done, but its upside/risk ratio is the greatest of all stocks I've researched (and I've researched a bunch). Stock: SWBI. Slaughtered recent earnings even after FIVE upward revisions in earnings AND revenue estimates. CRAZY low forward P/E ratio since American Outdoor Brands got spun off. Decent short-squeeze potential with short interest being roughly 12%, short ratio close to 3, with institutional ownership at 66%. While those aren't phenomenal in a vacuum, I believe the low average daily volume at ~5% of float would amplify any squeezing effects. Lastly, politics aside, gun sales are not declining any time soon IMO.
Crypto-wise, XRP is my bet. Out of all "major" cryptos, this one has been kept down mainly due to the uncertainty with the pending lawsuit. Again, this comes down to upside/risk ratio. Will it fall if the lawsuit turns out unfavorable, absolutely. BUT, the low likelihood of that coupled with some expectation of it already priced in, limits downside. UPSIDE-wise, let's just say that its ATH is above $3, and it used to be the 3rd crypto after BTC and ETH. Fundamentally, nothing changed about XRP besides the lawsuit.
Anyway, obviously I'm holding both assets but this shouldn't be seen as an attempt to "pump" I hope. I only speak with facts. Best of luck everyone!
And go Bucks (fan since 1999)!
