Coming from Knicks fan, nobody wants to hear a privileged Cavs fans complain. You have had enough fortune recently. Leave if you will.

Sucks worse to be you than me i guess then i dont need no sympathy or apathy either im just tired of the nba sometimes seems like the fix is in

Cleveland's probably been the luckiest lottery team in the NBA - starting in 2003 when they won Lebron.

In the seven drafts without LeBron, 2011-14 and 2018-20, the Cavaliers stunningly won the lottery and had the overall No. 1 pick three times. During that span, Cleveland also had overall picks of 4, 4, 5, 5 and 8.

Without question ...lets get that back to the old lottery odds ...No but really
being the worst or 2nd worse team 2 years in a row and picking outside the top 4 at 5 missing on zion and melo etc is not good luck recently. Zion in 19 to nop with the AD demand shot up to 1 to get a quick turnaround they magically got it now thats luck if you dont believe in miracles or timely fixes but it was way to much like karma to not happen for the sake of the league.
So if any team not in top 4 wins it again the new lottery rules are broken to the point of hurting the worst teams but its fine im just not sold the new odds are good for bottom dwelling teams at all even though it stops blatant tanking.
Something to think about for bad teams not just cle or my selfish desire to have all picks be based on record

Green and Todd were solid today.

Todd should go in the first round IMO. I would take him ahead of players like BJ Boston, Terence Clarke, Greg Brown, and Isaiah Jackson.

It's a joke that Sam Vecenie, a so called "draft expert," put him outside of the top 60 in his latest big board.

Vecenie is a clown, but friendly reminder that people on this board said Todd 'sucks' just a few months ago

he was always a 1st round talent, pretty obvious even in HS.

I thought after watching his HS stuff that he must be one of the worst people on earth off the court when he wasn't in any main stream mock draft before the seasons started. Not many guys on this planet his size that move like him and can shoot.

This is very true about Todd (I think he is borderline lotto) and the profile of a 6'10 positionless player who can shoot and defend multiple positions.

Coincidentally, my latest prospect review is about an international player who fits this exact profile. And no, he can't shoot anything like Todd.

If you are talking about Aldama, he is a worse shooter than Todd but he is just way better as a ball player

Todd has a lot of tools and I'd bet on him 1st round or close to it, but the dude is just jacking at all times and his defense is so bad

The issue with Todd is between his ears. He has a lot of tools and that should and will get him drafted on upside probably later in the first round, but he's perhaps the opposite of Cunningham in that he looks way better in highlights than when you watch him all game.

His highlights are top5 good, I mean he is then 2nd best athlete for Ignite (yes over Kuminga)

What is the best SF or PF that Nuggets could get through this draft if we value them to get a pick in range of 20-24th?

Maybe Usman Garuba? He's like a mini Draymond without the elite ballhandling and playmaking skills. Ok maybe not so much like Draymond then but could be a great fit next to Jokic

Easily Kessler Edwards

I expect Franz Wagner to be gone by then and Jalen Johnson is more of a PF/C, but he could slide, talented but type of guy that probably needs to fail in a couple teams before he figures it out if he ever does

Nah, I haven't published on the player yet that I am thinking of (he won't be a 1st rounder). I already covered Aldama before. As far as the comparison, I just don't see them as similar players. Aldama is a worse shooter and athlete. He is a better player at this stage, but his performance in the NBA will be more dependent on team fit imo. Of course, he is still developing too and this is based on what I am seeing now. Todd I would feel more comfortable plugging into just about any offense and hoping he makes strides.

It is a hard comparison because I feel like European players tend to have better overall skillset developments early on, but they have to make the adjustment to speed/pace/differences in the game. Todd is not really a finished product in many of the areas Aldama stands out. Likewise, in the same vein, can Aldama develop his shot?

depends on what you're looking for, Kispert for shooting but more of a 2/3, i like Watford in that range, and Todd/Thor/Jalen Johnson but more 4/5s

Aldama's shot has already improved and I feel good about him being a plus shooter

He is a fine athlete by the way, worse than Todd but he is good, I think ultimately Aldama could be a more athletic/taller Bjelica

I feel pretty good about my top3 tiers

Cade Cunningham

Jalen Suggs
Evan Mobley
Jalen Green

Jonathan Kuminga
Keon Johnson
Moses Moody
Ziaire Williams
James Bouknight
Kai Jones
Franz Wagner
Bennedict Mathurin
Jaden Springer
Santi Aldama
Corey Kispert
Alperen Şengün

Garuba, Giddey, Barnes and Jalen Johnson or Cooper would close my top20 and are the closest to have a shot to jump to tier III

wings with size and shooting dry up fast and in a hurry imo, Kessler Edwards, Trey Murphy III probably the best of the rest for the top45 (Henry, TSJ don't quite cut it as shooters)

I still have Garuba as lotto, but if he is available for Denver they should take him, he'd be a nice fit. Hits open corner threes, and is extremely mobile and aware on defense.

Garuba would be a great fit in Denver actually but he's more a 4/5 mold obviously
