He was incredible, especially considering what Luka did to Kawhi and PG in the playoffs last year.

Here we are almost 2 months later (and I don't want to jinx it because its cool to see).

Wiz 7-1 in last 8 games. Keep this up they may become relevant.

Russell Westbrook might have a limited jumpshot and a fast break mentality but he is a heck of a leader of men

Few wild endings today too.

And sorry pen, though the Wizards do at least seem to be a bit better than they were earlier, and hope they stick around. Seems from the outside at least they're playing better.

Oh and the Knicks now with a winning record and I believe a top 4 seed. As expected.

lol........this explains why Shaq was such a mediocre defender for most of his career. Also doesnt inspire thoughts on how his defense would look in todays league

They're losing, I haven't even been watching but how the Cavs are getting pick-pocketed every possession and winning must be a sight.

Ben Simmons is something else on defense. Really glad the Sixers didn't split up him and Embiid, that combo is awesome

Decided to relax and watch AEW while I was working and this comeback surprised me.

Will say agree, I really like this Sixers group as a fan too. And Embiid had another MVP level performance.

Aside to this, but all-NBA teams should vote Jokic at PG because having one of him or Embiid not 1st team is criminal.

Also since I mentioned it and TNT did too, Shaq wrestled. He went through tables.

Did I read correctly that he had steals on 5 straight possessions? If that's correct, that's insane.

The Pelicans are .1 ortg shy of last years Mavericks’ record of 116.7. They’re also 6th in the league.

The Nets ORTG is a bewildering 119.1, even with Durant missing so much time.

The league is insane right now. Also James Harden is good.

League average O Rtg is up 1.4 points from just a year ago. Over 5 points in 5 years, with a few big leaps in there.

This might be related to a post a few days ago but:

Seems like offenses are humming, and not sure if it's lack of fans or what b/c there haven't been other major changes in just an offseason, but it seems like maybe its helping some weird comebacks in games.

I do think lack of fans plays a part, as does the continuing improvement and spamming of the 3pt shot. I do think they need to give some freedom back to the defenders at this point, even with something as simple as being more strict in terms of calling moving screens. That alone would help defenders a lot, as would not rewarding the offensive player for initiating contact on the perimeter.

2 unrelated points.

First wanted to post this to save it, looks like a comparison of all in 1 metrics and confirmed my suspicions on RAPTOR (generally don't buy any of the all in 1s w/ tracking data added like this):

And second no clue if it holds but if the Jazz keep the 1 seed and Lakers/Clippers end up 3/4 or 4/3 and they still don't avoid one of them...oh man.

Monty Williams has to be the most underrated coach in the league right?
