How about Ish Smith and Troy Brown for Kris Dunn and Cam Reddish?

We aren’t using Brown and there is no way Reddish will ever get better on that roster. Dunn, when healthy, can really defend well. I think Reddish might be better in a different scenario.

I wanted to include Robinson but nobody wants him.

Unlike the Wiz, the Hawks have given plenty of pt to their 1st round picks - Reddish is getting upwards of 28 minutes a game - even though he's got a lot to learn - so I think they want to keep him. He's a versatile defender - and his size comes in handy on switches. His 3 point shooting has been terrible, but I think that's just a matter of him working hard to improve - he's looked great at times shooting it against the Wiz.

Griffin to the Nets apparently, he's past his prime, but still a good add onto a playoff team

Griffin’s physical decline is so pronounced, that he is either completely cooked or just took the biggest dive I’ve ever seen.
If he starts looking bouncy and like the player he was two years ago, there should be an huge investigation.

Apparently, he gave back $13.3M of the money he was owed. So if he took a dive, he is paying the price for it already.

I can't see him making 13 mill anywhere else before he retires. But I mean if you want gone you want gone. Any contender might enjoy him off the bench !

Could we use him? I personally prefer giving that run to Deni but it’s interesting that he’s now a FA.
Just let the young boys play! It's truly the only hope at this point.

It's amazing to think that just 3 years ago, Otto Porter seemed to have a terrific career ahead of him.
Breaking News: In a shocking development, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis has sold the NBA franchise to a consortium of participants in a discussion board devoted to the team on realgm.com. Details to follow....

I think there's bad blood between Porter and the Wizards organization.

At any rate, he wouldn't sign here when he could sign with a team that has a real chance of going somewhere in the playoffs.

Porter has played 45 games since being traded from here. Coronavirus or not, that's telling. Seems like a nice guy, but he's gone from chronic hip injuries to chronic back problems. I feel like even when he played, he was hobbled a good chunk of the time.

I feel bad for otto but I mean hell if he can latch on with a contender maybe buy himself a couple more years **** it. But I just don't see him as a factor anymore.

Grimmace has lingering back problems and has missed a lot of games, the Warriors would be foolish to bring him on

The chronic hip problems were a major concern - probably going back 5 years or so.

It would be a no brainer to bring him in on a vet minimum contract if the Bulls buy him out. But you are right that they should be very wary of signing him to a long term deal in the offseason.

At this point, I don't think anyone will give Porter an expensive, long term contract. He'll have to go with one or the other. He could probably get pretty good money on a short term deal (1 or 2 years) but if he wants a long deal, his asking price is going to have to come down a lot.

I would love to bring Otto back. Still a great player when he plays. Easy to root for.

Mason Jones just waived. Intriguing UDFA that has had mixed results in a small sample size. Curious as to why one of the worst teams would waive him.

That doesn't sound good. Hope Harrell is ok.

Sign that kid. Please please sign that kid.

Waive Robinson or Gill & pick him up. We still sneak in under the tax.

This is a rookie SG who, per 40 minutes, is above NBA average for a wing in points scored, efg%, TS%, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, & assists. He gets to the line 7 times per 40 minutes -- as a rookie!

Jones has two bad stats: he turns the ball over too much (4.25 times/40 minutes) & he's only 65.1% from the line. He shot .820 from the line in college.

He's a guard not a big, but this is the Christian Wood story all over again.

Makes sense. I always favored Hinton out of the two anyway. Jones needing the ball in his hand and a propensity for turning the ball over always worried me.
