First time in LFC history we've lost 5 in a row at home in the league.

Just to rub some salt into the wound. Haven't scored in open-play in more than 10 hours at Anfield. Or haven't scored in open play at Anfield since 2020.

At Anfield in 2021;

6 games. 1 draw. 5 losses. 1 goal scored (penalty vs City), 9 goals conceded.

It's bad but you've got a lot of injuries and your game relies on stamina and pressing.

What has surprised me is your woeful scoring. You have no excuse there with the forwards your team has fit to play.

Supposedly Salah's manager tweeted something during the match or afterwards.

Not making the top 4 would be a big fail for Liverpool and I still think they are more likely to be top 4 than Leicester, West Ham and Everton. Manchesters, Chelsea and Pool must be favourites. However I agree with Klopp that not being top 4 will not result in an exodus of players. The problem will be more the quality of players who want to join the team. The elite players are not coming to a team NOT playing in the CL.

I see that most of the contenders have 4 games against top 8 opposition to play this season but Liverpool only have 1 left.

We have 5 and finish with Manu, Chelsea, Spurs. I suppose we can say that we have the opportunity to take points off other challengers. :-(

Chelsea should be picking up at least 13 of the next 15 points. Manu may only get 3 from the next 12. I can see Chelsea sitting pretty in 2nd with a month of the season to play

Should've been 0-3 already.
Now we'll even have trouble to get a point.

Classic Arsenal.

I've only watched the last 15 minutes but Burnley were on top there. With your attackers you should still be favoured here.

First 25 of the second is all Burnley. Shame their ball in has been so poor. How can arsenal not be killing this with the squad they have?

If that wasn't a penalty because of proximity then neither was the N'Didi one. Crazy!

Burnley should be ahead, they've played so much better than Arsenal.

Good last 10 for Arsenal. Draw was probably the right result. Got to wonder about Arteta with that squad and less injuries than many how his team have only been mid table all season. I wouldn't be happy if I were an Arsenal fan.

How many points do you think are needed for CL this season? 70? 68?

And Europa? 65? 63?

The amount of points we lost due to individual errors is maddening.

That aside, we hevn't got any luck with the officials this season.
That's a clear handball, even when it's that close. His arm was outstretched horizontal. You can't say it's incidental contact if your arm is like that.

I wish I knew what the rule with handball is. I don't anymore. :D

1-0 Brighton at half time, better team winning.

Brighton had 66 shots with 1 goal in the last three games, today they scored from their first! :-)

We're playing with a back 3 again and it's frightening. I'd take off Amartey and go to a 4.

Great second half from the team and turned it around for a big win. Brighton played well but ran out of steam. And Big Dan who I cursed throughout the first half, stooped to conquer with the header. Well done Dan.

Looking at the Newcastle and West Brom teams and squads pre-match and you can see why they are near the bottom of the league. They really both deserve to be relegated. Fulham and Brighton are such better teams. Newcastle really should've been sold before now.

Big 2 weeks for Arsenal. Olympiakos twice with Spurs and West Ham (both above them in the league). 4 weeks and life looks rosy, 4 losses and the season is doomed?
