And yet LeBron tried to get Kawhi to join him last year.

LeBron also wants to make super teams. Durant is just better at it.

This is definitetly true, but in hindsight, I like it much better that LA won a title with AD and LeBron rather than with all 3. Titles hit differently when it's a bit tougher.

Luxury of having 17 titles as opposed to Nets fans who have 0

Oops just saw. I agree.

To be fair though Blake can extend his range unlike CWebb (or probably he wasn't asked to with Sheed around)

Blake is washed. This doesn’t necessarily hurt Brooklyn, but it also doesn’t help them. Defensively he is putrid.

So I guess Lebron had 3 all stars alongside him last year when he lead his team against the mighty Miami Heat?

Rondo has been an all star
Dwight has been an all star
Davis is an all star

Is 5 still greater than 4?
Stop being so disrespectful.

IF Lebron beat the Nets in the Finals, he better drop Space Jam 2 the next day.

Do people here think Griffin was just unmotivated to play for that Pistons franchise, or is it just me?

This is my fear as well. For all we know, the guy is playing through pain, and simply wasn't willing to endure very much for a losing team, but will grit his teeth and deal with it for a contender.

Well, we'll know soon enough.

Nice, this was something Brooklyn needed and I think he would be great playing a lot of minutes with the bench unit with Harden.

The guy may be the worst starter in the NBA, he is shooting 36% from the field ffs.. Why do we feel he is any kind of positive addition?

Nah, he is just playing Lebron's game. But he plays it better. Lebron started this stacking of the deck after chocking and quitting in the playoffs. These rings are just as fine as Lebron's are. Not Durant's fault people actually want to play with him.

nzahir wrote:Another superteam for KD, another ring that won't hold too much weight

Becoming a legend means overcoming difficulty, not playing with 3 mvps in their prime, multiple other all stars in prime, dpoy in prime, and elite bench guys

He will never have one of those all time legendary moments, such as Lebron in 2016, Hakeem in 1995, Dirk in 2011, 2003 Duncan

He has also capped himself at 1 mvp, he had/has the talent to be a top 5-10 guy, but he will never be there with 1 mvp and no legendary moments

If this is coming from a LeBron fan, then it is one of the most highly ironic (and another word that ends with "nic") messages I've ever seen.

The fact that you named LeBron, the perpetrator of this Super Team era we live in, while crying about Durant having a Super Team, is almost staggeringly oblivious.

That you then followed it up by listing Dirk, who won that ring by beating a LeBron James Super Team is just the icing on the cake.

As usual, Super Teams are only fair and legacy-bolstering if LeBron James is the architect. If not, the deck was stacked too high and LeBron should get bonus points to his legacy for having to face such unfair rosters.

Give me a break.

I hope KD wins 4 straight rings, just to rub it in the faces of the salty LeBron Homers, as he again shows you how build a super team.

People really out here acting like LeBron didn't try to recruit Anthony Davis AND Kawhi Leonard.

Only difference is that people actually want to play with KD more than they want to play with LeBron.

Case in point?

Kawhi turned down LeBron but invited KD to join him in LA.

He’s not a good player at this point. But we’ll see what he’s got left in the tank.

The fact WOJ said the nets view Blake as their small ball 5 makes me feel better.

He should be playing next to Claxton or Jordan. Their defense gets worse if he is their 5

I’d love to see Blake and DJ get a ring. Sad it couldn’t have been with Lob City when they were stars. Wish him luck. May not want Harden/Kyrie to get one, but I’ll be happy for KD/Blake/DJ
/Harris etc

blake is gonna get 10 mins a night with 2nd unit. fill in when a starter is hurt. he is not gonna get major minutes overall, especially not in the playoffs unless there are injuries.
