Isn't this gonna eat into their MLE and leave us a clearer path to sign buyout guys like OPJ and whoever else shakes out?
Name a more ideal buyout guy for the Nets than Drummond (the greatest defensive player of all time, one might add)
Porter would fit well. They need defensive players whether they be wings OR bigs but wings who can shoot the three and pay two positions are more valuable.
They can have Drummond if we can get Porter pretty confident porter if healthy will have a much bigger impact in a 7 game series besides Drummond isn't getting 15 FGA to average 17 PTS on that BKN team. You guys are going to be surprised at how much his numbers are going to fall once he gets there.
It's also a really dumb move on Drummond part because he still wants to by all reports get paid which A) Will be affected by his reduced opportunities there B) He will be going to an overthecap team with already 3 max guys and some other expensive contracts who are not going to offer him a big deal in FA. His legacy isn't really going to be changed by joining that Nets team so why sacrifice future money? His agent needs to talk some sense into him

Is a 4-1 trade even possible with roster limits (honest question)? Scott, Ferguson, Poirier, and Bradley would work in theory salary wise I believe.

The point is that the best team in the east just added a significant amount of talent through the buyout market and at their biggest position of need. Doesn't matter if Embiid owns Drummond or not. He's still way better than Jordan and playing small ball with Bruce Brown. Philly does need to make a couple of moves to keep up with the Nets.

They'd need to create roster spots by cutting players or sending them to us via T.E.

It is far from being official
His agent still has some time to talk sense into him. The Lakers would be a much better option for him

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

You say that as if he isn't doubled almost every time he touches it. Double him or get toe tagged. See Gobert, Rudy.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Stats like this are useless outside of the first column (and that's being generous), the sample is too low to say anything valuable.
In the case of Mitchell, however, the volume of shooting he carry is one of the bigger mysteries of the entire league for me, the Jazz could be even better by distributing some of his shoots around and they have the personel to do it.

Barton and Tucker are the best options of those.
But Barton would be expensive and we don't have nothing to offer to Denver. Tucker is not comming unless he gets buyout

Hes not, Embiid owns him. It's just annoying.
Even with Embiid owning him it's very quality depth. And he's better than Deandre.

Delon Wright is the only guy on that list that can still create and defend.

Ellington and Wright for expiring contracts and a first and second would be a really nice deal. Follow that up with a veteran pickup at the three/four or four/five spot to replace Scott and I would call that a huge improvement for our chances.

Looks like the Raptors have finally came to the conclusion that it's literally impossible to trade a 5'4" 250 pound 38 year old on a $30m expiring contract.
Buyout or nothing.
Buyout or nothing.

He will either be extended or traded
As you say, letting him walk for nothing makes no sense

LMA is available now. He'd be an upgrade on Dwight. Maybe he can steal a few mins at PF still?

I believe the trade rumors were Lowry trying to put pressure on the Raptors to re-sign him. I don't know if they just can just let him walk. That's a lot of fan backlash. And that market is nuts
