Everything he says is exactly what the team has been missing I can't wait for him to come back.
I apologize for the things I have said in the past.

FWIW:

Rumor: Celtics to Trade For Magic's Nikola Vucevic

Nikola Vucevic has spent the last nine seasons with the Orlando Magic and that could soon be changing as it's being reported the Boston Celtics are aggressively pursuing the forward and talks have gained significant traction over the past couple of days.

Keep an eye on these two teams as talks continue and an announcement could be made before the end of the week.

Edit: Sorry wrong thread

I mean, it quoted the Ringer article as the report; that report said we had significant interest, that's all. That's not significant traction or anything

That 3 point contest win probably puts Pierce over the top.

We should really just where these against lottery teams. For the extra salt.

Is it a coincidence that Teague is finally playing better now that IT is available and looks ready to play again? Did someone whisper in his ear that his time was over if he kept on like he was?

If we make a trade involving TT at the deadline, I'm intrigued about bringing in Aldridge as a bench big. He probably will pick one of the LA teams or the like if released but we could at least offer him key minutes in the instance TT is traded as part of a deal to get wing or guard help.

Maybe he's just washed but I like the idea of having him here to beat up benches.

zoyathedestroya wrote:Maybe too early to call it a trend. Numbers from the last six games could very well be just noise and not facing tough defenses is a factor, but **** it, I'll say it anyway... the Celtics are trending in the right direction.

Start of season until 02/22/2021:
Celtics 4th Qtr assisted field goals %, ranking in parenthesis: 49.8% (29th)
Celtics 4th Qtr offensive rating, ranking in parenthesis: 105.4 (26th)

02/23/2021 onwards:
Celtics 4th Qtr assisted field goals %, ranking in parenthesis: 58.8% (17th)
Celtics 4th Qtr offensive rating, ranking in parenthesis: 127.1 (2nd)

Remember that 4th quarter execution has been one of our major issues this season and a big reason why we can't seem to close out games even when we had 4th quarter leads. And contrary to the popular opinion that Theis cost us the Miami series, it was our 4th quarter and late-game offense that let us down in the ECF. Keep moving that ball and making the right play, guys!

4th Quarter Offensive Rankings from previous seasons:
2019-20: 2nd
2018-19: 6th
2017-18: 6th
2016-17: 3rd

LOL trend ended against one of teams who aren't even supposed to be elite defensively. Our trend is inconsistency.

We were in the game against Kyrie and Harden with our supposed second star shooting .217 and our supposed third star scoring 11 points on 40% shooting. Do we lowkey have the best bench in the league or something?

We have 8 unquestionably legit players -- the Jays, the centers, and the PGs. And for once all 8 were, if not healthy, at least playing.

The Nets also got 6 treys from Landry Shamet. He kept them in the game in the first half. Alas, Kemba has to guard someone.

Our bench was collectively like -60 or something, so no.
