Also really like Wagner as he's just a well rounded player like a Tayshaun Prince or something.
Barnes I'm coming around on because he is quite impactful with his defense and playmaking giving him some comps to a Draymond Green type. His offense is a mess though.
Jalen Johnson I want no part of
Cade
Mobley
Green
Suggs
Kuminga
Moody
Springer
Barnes
Bouknight
Wagner
That's my top 10 now
I'd probably swap Bouknight and Springer considering Pistons needs, I'd swap Mobley and Suggs (my guy) and maybe sub out Wagner for Kispert just because Kispert is such an incredible shooter but we pretty much agree otherwise. It's a shame about Johnson because he has great physical tools but that's a big red flag when he quits on his team in the middle of the season. I get why he did it to an extent but it also says something about his character IMO.
On another note, I'm going to see if I can find a Suggs highlight package from tonight when it's posted on youtube. Tonight was Exhibit A on why I think he's so special and has arguably the biggest "it" factor in this draft. The basketball IQ is off the charts (he'd arguably be a top 5 passer in the NBA right now), he has that killer instinct that I love in a player always in attack mode, he can lock down defensively and he loves taking the biggest shot and drained three big 3's tonight to put the game away to illustrate that.
He just has that special swagger to him that all the greats have, a swagger that I don't quite see in anybody else in this draft outside of possibly Green. If he was more consistent with that outside shot, he'd be #1 in this draft. I truly believe that. I think he's a better version of Lamelo Ball, not a perfect comparison stylistically but really high IQ players who have elite court vision.
