What do you think ORL would ask for Bamba + Fournier?

Fournier being an expiring i dont think will land us much, but Bamba has shown glimpses of being a good player, he just cant get out of Cliffords dog house for some reason. To me Bamba is still on that boarderline untouchable line because when he does play he is very efficient. I would love to see him actually play some meaningful minutes before trading him away unless the package was worth it.

no i think that sending the MIN pick is an overpay for Vuc. It's a bad value move. The pick is a potential gold ticket.

Maybe its protected? Or maybe it is made into a pick swap along with a future GSW pick? Maybe just adjust that compensation

It's an interesting thought experiment - who is more movable, Rozier or Hayward?

On the one hand, I just can't imagine moving Hayward when we treated it like this windfall when we signed him. We talked about him like he was a necessary add to stabilize Ball.

On the other hand, I also think it's clear that Rozier has carved out a significant leadership role, and he's a lot younger and better fits our core timeline. Hayward did sign our offer when Cliff was the coach, so there's at least some history there. Maybe he wouldn't be upset about us moving him?

I get it - as most here will attest to, Cliff is set in his ways...and it's frustrating if you believe in your young guys.

I was trying to tie the Fournier rumor with a young center that is exactly what we're looking for. Fournier isn't desired per se, but he seems like the type of expiring vet that playoff teams trade for to upgrade their roster.

Bamba is the prize that I want. Cliff is ruining and wasting him big time!

I think once you include the pick I am out. Even top 5 protected. If it were possible to trade Zeller and a pick for him them I am in but once we have to throw in a Monk or something on top of it we get into overpay territory.

They’re actually a great fit together.

I agree, especially in the Borrego offense. I mentioned it before, a trade involving Rozier for Lonzo/Jaxson Hayes makes a lot of sense

I really like Jaxson Hayes and would want him more than Lonzo in the deal. However, I think bringing Lonzo over would be great for LaMelo, helps improve our defense and I think each can elevate the other's game. Not to say that Lonzo would be the starter per se, but having him here as part of a package that brings Hayes would be sweet.

Not sure what NO would want for the two of them, but I'd kick the tires to see what the ask is.

Hayes won't be 21 until May of this year and fills a huge need for us. Can get some PT this year and use Zeller + Biyombo's tutelage....unless one of them is part of the deal going back.

I don't know, but I am not trading a 23 year old shooting 44% from deep for a 28 year old shooting 37% from deep to add a shooter/floor spacer off the bench. The 23 year old has plenty of room to grow, the 28 year old is in his prime and expiring. Seems like backwards thinking, especially for a young team like tge Hornets.

I still believe Washington needs to go before he potentially loses value. We have a young star and we don’t have time to bank on players who regress or don’t progress. 12 points and 6 rebounds for a starting Power Forward is easy to find...particularly when your starting Power Forward is very inconsistent. Monk and Miles should stay. Graham, Washington, Zeller, and Biyombo should all be on the trading block.
