The thing about Boston is that he had the rep of an elite shooter, but he shot in the 20s from 3 in high school, too. So I'm not really sure where that rep came from?

Brandon Boston at 34,Aldama at 39,Todd at 43,Mathurin at 67...

Even with the Calipari argument going for Boston he shouldn't be top10 really, top20 I get, or 20s

I like Hurt, but he is kinda too limited athletically, probably a NBA guy so that has value at some point but he is sorta like Nicolo Melli

He's referring to ESPN's Best Available (Big Board) rather than a mock, I think. It's publicly available on their web site.

Calipari or no Calipari Boston is a top10 guy, Isaiah Jackson not that far off, should be a top 14-16 guy at worst tbh

Calipari's hot takes are useless, but there is a case to be made that Kentucky can hide talent.

Dynsfunctional one and done program not suited for younger players who aren't immediately ready, are immature, and/or are beyond another player playing the same role.

But BJ Boston's counting stats makes me puke. Inefficient, ineffective in college with superior tools. Can't even shoot FT as a shooting guard.

you can see he will eventually be able to "score" but shooting is not reliable in most scenarios outside of a one dribble pull up from distance or midrange

Am I crazy to be more worried about Cunningham's 3-point shooting (42.5%) than I am about Suggs' 3-point shooting (35.4%)?

I think I ranked him late lotto. My point was that nothing changed in his profile to move him to round 2. He was always a lotto talent considering what he showed in high school. In college, he has been awful. But nothing has changed to move him to round 2.

He's the best 30 foot shooter in the draft. Who is taking these shots besides Lillard, Curry, and Young.

i don't worry about either of them tbh from 3 but yes, I don't see why you would be more worried about Cade's shot than Suggs'

At first glance: yeah. Where are you coming from? Cunningham shoots a lot better on higher volume, taking tougher shots, and has an 11.5% advantage on FTs (Cunningham's FT% is elite at 85.4%, and that is historically a good predictor for 3pt shooting).

Yeah the way he's hitting those deeeeeep shots off the dribble is pretty nuts. This guy should go in the first round for sure. He is being slept on cause he's playing in the A-10, but man he's very talented.

I know he's 23, but Sam Hauser is looking like a FRP. He's showing surprising shot creating ability - not just a catch and shoot guy. And Huff will also play in the NBA. Gotta congrat Boeheim's son - even though he isn't an NBA prospect. 2 straight days absolutely playing his heart out for his dad.

I'm not sure what it is about it. I just don't see the elite 3-point stroke from Cade, whereas I can see it from Jalen. It might be 100% because of the form. Not that Cade's is bad necessarily, but it's not as traditional.

Cade's form is amazing, what are we talking about here, and his shooting by any indicator is absolutely elite
