Honestly people really don't get how irrational confidence in your preferred path can be the difference between being good and great.

Some fans, imo because of that, really don't deserve a superstar franchise player. There aren't 30 of them to go around and it takes more than one to be a true contender (not just a team that happens to be top 3 in a conference).

Like Lebrand wasn't just gunning for another MVP the first half of the season anyways :lol:

Whether it's the MVP or Kareem's record or whatever he can't keep trying and pretending like he's been running at half speed just because the Lakers have been losing without AD. This man is registering 40 minutes or more in some games, come on now

Was he asked this question by the media? I mean, if not the best thing would be to say nothing at all. But I doubt lebron cares all that much at the responses he'd get from saying something like that, so really I don't think this is a big deal. I don't even think it's a small deal. They were well on their way to the playoffs when he got injured so this means absolutely nothing. They couldn’t regain their early season success, so what? I never understood why that gets used against him.

It's already a nothing comment. He doesn't need to be asked about it to say it. Dude is getting pumped for the 2nd half of the season. This doesn't fall into the category of "shut up unless you're asked" unless one is being petty
