Re: 2021 NBA Draft Scouting
Seeing as we have a decent shot at making the playoffs this year, these are the guys we might really need to focus our attention on. Players projected to be available between 14-25 range of the draft.

SB Nation2021 NBA mock draft
17. Atlanta Hawks - Corey Kispert, F, Gonzaga
Kispert is a 6’6 knockdown shooter who is already playing in a pro-style offense on Gonzaga. As the Zags devastate opponents with an onslaught of weapons on the country’s most efficient unit, Kispert has established himself as the rare senior with a shot at getting drafted in the lottery. Kispert is a high volume, highly accurate shooter who is hitting 48.6 percent of his attempts from deep this year after hitting 43.8 percent of his threes last year. He has a quick trigger and deep range, which should fit in any modern offense. Scouts will wonder if he’s closer to Joe Harris or Doug McDermott in terms of four-year college players with dynamic long range shooting ability.

Bleacher Report2021 NBA Draft: Best Fits for G League Star Jalen Green
Jalen Green was a projected top-five NBA draft pick entering the G League bubble, and he's delivering on those expectations. Lottery teams can now start thinking about how he fits with their roster, feeling more confident that he's the real deal.
Through eight G League games, Green is averaging 17.6 points and 2.5 assists while shooting 50.0 percent overall and 37.8 percent from three. With Green likely to draw consideration from every team picking early in the 2021 NBA draft, we pinpointed his best and most interesting fits. We only considered teams currently projected to miss the playoffs.
Atlanta Hawks
If the Atlanta Hawks draft Green, they could eventually unleash one of the NBA's highest-scoring backcourts. He could be the missing piece for a team that needs another creator to take pressure off Trae Young. Joining a lineup with such a ball-dominant guard would require an adjustment for Green. But he's proving to be adaptable in the G League bubble with his role and new teammates.
Few ball-handlers are capable of drawing more defensive attention than Young, whose gravity should lead to more space for Green and less need to create something out of nothing. Between Green's isolation game, improved shot-making and secondary playmaking, he'd make an already-potent starting lineup tougher to defend.

Bleacher Report2021 NBA Mock Draft
9. Atlanta Hawks: James Bouknight
(Connecticut, SG, Sophomore)
After passing on Tyrese Haliburton in November, the Atlanta Hawks could look at guards in the 2021 draft. James Bouknight has emerged as an attractive option who'd take pressure off Trae Young.
He's back from an elbow injury and looking similar to how he looked before it when he averaged 20.3 points through his first six games. Bouknight is shifty off the dribble, capable of shaking defenders and scoring with an advanced layup package and tough shot-making from three levels.
We haven't seen as much playmaking from the 6'5" combo, but the Hawks would value his extra creation and firepower with Young capable of carrying the load as the team's setup man.

SI.com2021 NBA Draft Big Board
Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jonathan Kuminga and Jalen Suggs lead The Crossover's top 60 prospect rankings
At this stage of the process, it’s fair to say this: teams are legitimately excited about the top five prospects, and while the pecking order there isn’t settled, a soft consensus has formed: Cade Cunningham, Evan Mobley, Jonathan Kuminga, Jalen Suggs and Jalen Green seem likely to be the first five players drafted, in some order. Opinions vary on those prospects relative to one another (with Cunningham still the favorite to go No. 1), but the most confusing range of the draft right now may actually be 6 through about 20, where separating players from one another becomes a challenge.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Scouting
Cameron Thomas from LSU and Derrick Alston are turning into my two favorite prospects in the draft. Both guys could be steals as a mid or late 1st round pick.
I really like Corey Kispert, he reminds me of Paul Pierce, but i have a feeling that he will end up moving up the draft and end up being a top 5 pick.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Scouting
With size, shooting and playmaking, this kid could make for a nice secondary playmaker off the bench or a perfect complement to Capela in the starting lineup.
Bleacher ReportMarch Madness 2021: Elite Prospects Who Will Improve Draft Stock
Franz Wagner, SF, Michigan
Few prospects have done more for their draft stock this season than Franz Wagner. After a so-so freshman season at Michigan, he has shown demonstrable progression in just about every facet of the game as a sophomore.
Wagner was nowhere to be found among Wasserman's top 50 prospects in December. Fast-forward to March, and he comes in at No. 15 in his rankings.
The younger brother of fellow Michigan alumnus Moe Wagner, the younger Wagner has an NBA body and the versatile skill set to match. He has raised his three-point percentage from 31.1 percent as a freshman to 39.1 percent this season.
At 6'10", his ability to offer long-distance shooting, secondary playmaking and perimeter defense makes him a tantalizing prospect. The men's NCAA tournament should offer him a chance to move up boards even further.
Michigan is expected to be a No. 1 seed and should be a favorite to at least make it to the Final Four. With Wagner continuing to grow more comfortable as a scorer, we could see him put up some more incredible performances and get in the top-10 conversation by April.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Scouting
This kid's size and playing style remind me a bit of a less talented (and more flaky) version of Ben Simmons.
Bleacher ReportCollege Basketball's 5-Star Recruits Who Have Hurt Their NBA Draft Stock Most
Jalen Johnson, Duke
Preseason: Consensus No. 6 Pick; 247Sports' No. 13 recruit
Current: Consensus No. 8 Pick
Season Stats: 11.2 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 2.2 APG, 1.2 BPG, 1.2 SPG, 44.4% 3PT
Jalen Johnson's draft stock hasn't taken much of a hit, at least within the mock drafting community.
However, his recent decision to opt out of the remainder of the season—and the fact that Duke appears to be much better off without him—cannot help his spot on front-office white boards around the country.
Johnson's talent is undeniable. He had 19 points and 19 rebounds in his collegiate debut against Coppin State. He also had 24 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists against Pittsburgh. And while concerns exist regarding his defense, Johnson fared well in the blocks and steals departments when he was engaged on that end.
But this also wasn't the first time he left a team out of the blue, as he pulled out of IMG Academy before his senior season of high school could begin. Between that and the foot injury that kept him out of action for nearly a month, the red flags may well leave lottery teams feeling the risk isn't worth the reward.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Scouting
Scottie Barnes is a physical stud. I see semblances of Baby Giannis. He may not be the right fit alongside Capela but he's good for the rest of the team at 4. I'd be willing to trade Collins to get to him as I'm sure Schlenk is watching this class closely.
