Maybe we’ll get that #1/2/3 pick we desperately need

Proffessional team that, aside from Vučević, shoots 17-62 ( 27% FG) against opponent who is not even anything special
It's kind a hilarious and tragic at once that Clark , Okeke and Aminu all look like twin brothers on the court. Nobody can pick up a dribble, nobody can score in general and only thing can do when they get a ball is shoot 3s, but non of them is even great at that.

What a horrible box-score.

With this loss:
Orlando is still 4 games back from a play-in slot (Indy also lost).
Orlando is still 1 1/2 games back from Cleveland as the 4th worst team (the Cavs also lost).
Orlando is still 1 game above Houston (the #3 Rockets also lost).

I have only two positive take aways
1. Vucevic is great
2. Okeke is aproaching lockdown defender level.

Nobody’s making **** excuses but four of our five starters are out and Terrance Ross. Combined with Vooch Evan and TRoss carry over 60% of our offense. Spurs are a well coached team and still had most of their roster intact which is significantly better than what we rolled out there. In what world did anyone think we’d have a chance to win?
What is vooch supposed to do when teams are essentially. Zoning him with two or three guys and daring people like Bacon and Aminu to beat them?

In the first quarter, Aminu ran a couple fast-breaks off of rebounds that were very effective.

If Vuc wasn't having the offensive explosion he is having this year, this would be a freshman-level offense. The ball movement and player movement are nonexistent with Clifford.
Exactly. He did the same thing with Kemba. Watching the Spurs, with a meh roster, run circles around our 'defense' was really eye opening. Their player and ball movement was night and day in contrast to ours.
I have to agree...the single biggest “culture” change we could make is a young, creative exciting offensive-minded coach. Cliff is what he is and he’s not to be faulted too much for riding with what he’s got available but this is ugly, boring, predictable. Quin Snyder, Nick Nurse, Pop always have 13 guys devoted to moving the ball, cutting and working off-ball for good shots and hockey assists...pretty to watch and you’re always in a game if you got the knockdown wings to finish the play. Vuc could adapt, Cliff won’t. Evan doesn’t seem to be that guy either -despite the shooting.

I think Aminu has more shake to his handle than Gordon which is funny.

Didn't realized we played b2b but kinda glad I missed a blowout. This season is weird, it's fun to watch the team win but more excited for every loss to better our draft

Orlando did not get in to San Antonio until 3AM and as a back end to a BtB, under these conditions, of course the Magic would lack any fuel in their tank.

The last two games feel like the Magic are embracing the tank for the final half of the season.

It isn't like that has never happened before. Not really a fan of excuses. That is the life of the NBA. All teams go through travel situations. The team isn't any good and only had two healthy guards on the roster. The second Pop got the Spurs to figure that they cannot handle any ball pressure whatsoever, the game was over.

Usually these games are called "scheduled losses." In that coaches can manage work-loads and get young'ins more playing time.
