Dont see the Spurs giving away Murray for that little of a return. He is a really promising young guard.

Ainge laughably passed on Dejounte three times when we had a 5’8 starting PG who was soon to be a FA. His hubris wouldn’t allow him to trade for him

We have NEVER traded with Chicago or San Antonio. So no worries concerning LMA

I can see Ainge doing absolutely nothing because he has those type of stones. "Oh, you want this? That's nice. Let me do the exact opposite."

Yes, but he's been hurt alot, and I'm not sure he's a great fit with DeRozan. So if the Spurs don't buy Aldridge out and instead trade him, what will they get? Kevin Love-- repeatedly injured and on a horrible deal? To Miami for Meyers Leonard and Olynyk? Meh. At least Kemba helps them make the playoffs this year.

If the Celtics have to throw a first rounder into this deal, it just shows how badly Kemba's trade value has declined.

He hasnt missed a game yet this year and only missed 5 last year. And I'm also not sure replacing Kemba over Murray helps improve the Spurs chances of making the playoffs this year. The Spurs are a top 10 defense and one of the reasons theyre a top 10 defense is because of Murray's defense on opposing ball carriers.

If I was the Spurs, Id rather just buyout LMA than trade away Murray to get Kemba and his contract in return.

DD is also a free agent this off season- not sure they are making decisions based upon fits with him

If Murray's not a good fit with Derozan, it's Demar that's getting traded not him lol

Not sure this stat points to anything, as a trade can happen at any time between any teams. We had made zero trades with Charlotte in our history through mid 2019, but have now made 2 with them in less than 2 years.

I would say that I am an overly optimistic Celtic fan, and I am very supportive of Ainge and the Front Office and the decisions they make on the whole. But if they use the TPE on a very expensive, washed up veteran, whose team is much better without them on the floor, and who might be bought out this season anyway...... well I am still going to be an overly optimistic Celtic fan, but I could possibly get a bit of a crease from a frustration frown from time to time.

LMA into the exception makes no sense. Why should the Celtics hard cap themselves and pay luxury tax for two months of LMA? So it's not worth bashing Ainge for something he would never do.

PRO TIP: Don't make up fake trades at 5 am. The one I just made is gross. I just gave up Kemba, Theis, 2 1sts for a 2nd round exit lol.

Isnt that a pretty hefty price for a Ross/Barnes return?

LOL, Theis is probably the best player in the deal.

Carson and 2nd for Ellington

Daniel House into TPE 2nd (Kanter)

Larry Nance in from Cleveland
Thompson out to Knicks
Lottery protected 1st to Cavs
Kevin Knox and Grant Williams to Cavs

Cavs get 2 young players they can play and see if they have any value. A 1st round pick

Dumpster dive for 3rd center

Knicks have cap and only pick up 4.6 mil to add a center they need until Robinson gets back.

We get a legit 4 who can play some small ball 5 and defends really well.

New rotation
C Theis and Rob Williams
PF Nance and Tatum
SF Tatum and Brown and House
SG Brown and Ellington
PG Kemba and Smart and Pritchard

10 man rotation..can cut it to 8 or 9 come playoffs. Still have Langford and Neismith to keep or trade

Dude, I asked you days ago to simply name a few of these mystical trades that the Cs could do..... crickets. Can you post a few realistic deals that you would make right now for big name players otherwise there probably aren't any to make. Can you name even one?

Did I not put a proposal for Vuc in my post a few days ago? You just chose to overlook it. Not my issue.

Here's another one Teague and Semi for PJ Tucker.

It was vague, I asked for specifics.

PJ Tucker is not making much more of a difference than Semi. How does that deal do more than shuffle the deck? That’s certainly not bringing another banner.

and neither one of you have any legitimate way to make this team a winner this year, now do you? C'mon, lets see the legitimate moves that either one of you would AND could make to elevate this team past BKL, PHL, LAL, UTA, DEN and a few others. Lots of hand wringing, but not one actual plan.

LmA & Kyle Lowry (in division trades muy difícil)
LmA & Barnes plus healthy Kemba gives us a real shot !

Ok, but who are you giving up to get those guys? TOR isn’t just giving Lowry away.
