yeah keep posting nonsense in bulls board. you dont even watch illini.
if a top 5 seed best player doesnt deserve first round, dont even know what to say.

Ayo is not a top 5 prospect in this draft. And Luka Garza is the favorite to win the Wooden Award and might not even get drafted at all.

But Fischella is still wrong.

Who said he was a top 5 prospect?

He is just not athletic enough for his game to translate

I don't believe you need to be an elite athlete to be a first rounder. In Ayo's case, he doesn't have an explosive vertical but he's very good at seeing creases and exploding through them, as well as getting out in the open court. My main concern is his low release point on his jumper.

You’re right, I misread that. But the analysis is still wrong.

Announcers being idiotic. You need a 3 there.

Curbelo seems more talented to me than Ayo.

And Mobley has bust written all over him. I don’t like the way his free throws hit the back of the rim before going in.

As much as im pro ayo and illini, dont want him with own pick. you try to get a steal for those type of guys, hali the most extreme example. I would try to buy a mid to late first if he is there. A top 20 pic is ideal in terms of salary and draft value for him.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Ayo didn't have his best game today. They were keying on him defensively, and some of his shots were rushed and out of rhythm. But he competed and found other ways to contribute with the assists and the 9 rebounds. And he was playing intense defense at the end of regulation and in the overtime. And that deep 3 he took when Ohio State almost dared him to shoot...he stepped up in a critical situation and he drained it when the outcome of the game was in question. So this poor game (for him) does not deter me from wishing the Bulls can nab this kid. He flat out competes at both ends. And that potential Loyola v Illini matchup in the 2nd round has me salivating already.

OT: Not a Illinois fan but I love those cursive jerseys. Wish the Bulls brought back the old cursive Chicago jersey as a 4th alternate.

Yep. He plays with an edge. Him and Scottie Barnes both play that way in this draft. Both would help the Bulls a ton on D, hustle, and playmaking.

Can see Barnes in Thad’s role. He’d be so good at PF defensively next to Lauri at C.

Duane Washington from Ohio will be interesting when he goes into the draft (2022?). Not sure where / if he gets drafted, but he was coming up with a lot of big shots for the buckeyes down the stretch. Same sort of clutch that Cade showed down the stretch against Texas

I would really like to see him play against NBA level competition. It would be nice to at least see him play in the Olympics (if they get held) this July and delay the NBA Draft until the games are over. If we get enough NBA Series go 6 or 7 Games in the NBA Playoffs they could be playing well into July before the Finals end. How is the US even going to field a team if the NBA Playoffs and The Olympics are being held simultaneously? Do we go to Tokyo with a Roster of College players, G League guys and NBA players on teams that didn't make the Playoffs? Maybe we Send a squad of Cade, Mobley, Suggs, Kuminga, Jalen Green, Kispert, Barnes, Moody...and add in some NBA players on teams that are not making the Playoffs: KAT, Anthony Edwards, Jerami Grant, Haliburton, De'Aaron Fox, etc.

Looks nice I need to see more though, if he can’t shoot I don’t want him.

Return to Chicago Bulls
