Well that's another outlier game that results in a win. Lost the turnover battle 24-7, but shooting splits of 58/52/82 and Poku's best game on American soil will do it.

Also - SGA>Ja 1000%.

yeah it's not close. Morant has one year less in the NBA though but he's one of the most overrated young star in the league (and SGA is underrated right now)

Feel like worst 7 record is our best case scenario right now (30% at top 4)

More likely to win end up with 9-10 worst record :(

Ya I think today proves that there really isn’t much we can to consistently lose games besides forfeit.

I like Morant and am rooting for him but for okc, it’s nice to have a point guard that can shoot.

I can't remember seeing another player who the g league experience helped as much in as short a time as Poku. Just the confidence and the semblance of an idea of where to go with the ball are night and day from the beginning of the season to now.

I’m cautiously optimistic about him having a full offseason to get stronger and work on his shot.

Yea having a few months with our staff will be key for him, I've been wondering too if any of his family was allowed to come over/visit at all. Going through all of this as a 19 year old in a foreign country has to be really tough mentally.

Egg-xactly...

Now I'm not saying Poku has arrived but glad people are finally looking at his situation with a little bit of perspective.

If we have to be winning games, I'm super happy Poku is playing well. Strange after the numbers he put up in the G-league, but whatever it takes to get going.

If you listen to The Mismatch, this is pretty funny.

Per Shams article on the athletic-

Hill/Ariza: Several playoff contenders have interest in both Hill and Ariza, sources say. The Clippers are among teams interested in Hill, sources said. Hill has been a positive veteran player for Oklahoma City, and coupled with the fact that he has another season left on his contract in 2021-22 ($10 million, partially guaranteed), the Thunder are happy retaining Hill into the second half of the season unless a team meets their asking price for the veteran point guard. Ariza, meanwhile, is on an expiring deal worth $12.8 million.

As the next 10 days play out, more discussions are bound to take place.

Interrested on Ariza or trading for him? I doubt a team would give up any kind of asset for him...

I wanted to get rid of Hill ASAP but since we are not able to tank anyway, we better wait a good offer.

Btw I'm not against helping the Clippers but I would want them to ''overpay'' a bit. They have two future 2nds to trade and Beverley or Lou Williams. Not sure I would do this (if we can trade Lou to a third team for some small value, sure)

After yesterday, I'm done thinking this rebuild is going to go in the manner I wanted and expected. There are still lots of ways for it to succeed but I have no clear idea on how it will work out without looking back and seeing this season as a missed opportunity.

They have a bunch of Detroit 2nds that could be pretty nice. Hill might devalue the '22 pick a spot or two but can't imagine he'll impact the 24/26 ones at all, so not a huge issue trading him to the Clips if they send the best offer. Regardless I'd be surprised if we see Hill play for us again barring an injury/COVID crisis among the guards.

Not directly but it's still better for us that the Clippers struggles in the next 1-3 years for our 2024-2026 picks.

Even if Steve Balmer won't stop spending a lot of money for the Clippers, it's still better if they are struggling (who knows what PG13/Kawhi could decide in a couple of years).

Yeah it's pretty bad. SGA being elite is the only good thing of this season. I'm also pleased with Coach D

Some of our young guys are playing very well but I have an hard time seeing any of them as starters on a championship team (maybe Dort as the 5th best player; who knows about Poku but it's gonna take years and years IF he becomes a good player).

Well we still have 20-30% of getting a top 4 pick and 48%+ to get Kuminga, Suggs or Green.

We need luck :(

No one below them is going to start winning. That's the bigger issue imo
