If Toronto wants Thompson for an expiring, then a bunch of other trades get easier to do.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Why would it mean clutch is saying it?

Because Haynes has printed whatever Klutch has wanted printed in exchange for scoops for years

Klutch was probably like "Sign with Boston, TT. Get that bag. We'll get you the hell out of there by mid-season."

We move both, LMA makes a ton of sense

Except he sucks.

He shoots lots of deep twos, he’d be perfect here.

Basically all these leaks just means ainge is all over the place as he should be mixing up roster spots etc. likely team looks mostly the same but he needs to have plan b if plan a materializes etc

LMA would help. All anyone wants here is the answer to a guaranteed title. He not that.

Yep and maybe move Kemba for LMA and another player from SAS.

We finally figured out who the real target is.

Here’s the thing about Collins that irks me - he turned down $20 million/year. Ok, fine. However, the guy seems to think he should get a lot more shots. That’s also fine. Which young player doesn’t? I am just really weary about him, because if he felt that he wasn’t getting the ball enough as the #2 option, he sure as hell won’t be happy with his touches as a #3/#4 option.

Also, I think his performance in the dunk contest was hilariously awful. This has nothing to do with his performance as a basketball player. I just think he’s lame.

I am going to choose to believe that the Celtics interest in trading for LMA is because it's a trade involving Kemba. Why? Because I want to believe!!

Could be that he just wants to get the F out of Atlanta. Whoever acquires Collins may get a very motivated player. Regarding the contract, I still think he could accept a reasonable contract with a team he's happy with.
Classic ticket out of town ploy if you're on a rookie scale deal with a team that controls your rights as a restricted free agent......say you want way more than they are likely to give you....make it seem like you're out of touch with what you're worth. Start losing interest in playing there.....team will trade you. I'm not saying I agree with this approach, but we need to remember that these young players don't have much leverage if any at all.

I don’t blame him. Sounds like others do too. But again, he’s getting leftover scraps on the Celtics. Tatum/Brown/Kemba all ahead of him in the pecking order here. That dude will be lucky to get the same amount of FGA here than what he’s getting in Atlanta.

He wasn't happy with Trae chucking early shots and not running the offense properly. Haven't seen anything about being unhappy with shot amounts. Also 3rd option in Boston is different than 2nd in Atlanta. I'm sure he would love to play with 2 young versatile two-way wings instead of a 6 foot PG chucking half court shots and not playing a lick of defense.
His fit is perfect here, especially if his defense improves.

If they get Collins, Kemba will be dumped in the off-season.

Not knowledgeable how trades worked but I would love if we could:

1. Trade tt for Baynes
2. Get LMA
3. Get Barnes with tpe and Nesmith
4. Trade theis for a sharp shooter. I love theis but as we know we don't be able to resign him.

Kemba, Smart, brown, Tatum, Rob starting.

First line up off bench:
Smart, Pritchard (or langford), Tatum, barnes, Aldridge.
NY 567 wrote: that won't change the fact that Tatum is mediocre as hell and that Ainge is dumb enough to give average starters with no upside like Tatum and Brown max contracts. That's worse than Isiah Thomas level dumb
