knox should definitely get his minutes lol, he would’ve smacked that air ball Obi tossed up. I know it would hurt to bench your lottery pick and reduce him to supreme garbage time. But if they serious about making the playoffs, you play the guys that help the team most

Or trade for a guy that helps

Kyle Lowry is not elevatingg this team into championship contender status, which is what the Nets are and what the original poster was asking for.

We need to trade everything not named Barrett, Randle or Quickly got Towns while retaining a max slot for Beal

Quickly/Beal/Barrett/Randle/Towns

That’s awful my friend.

Towns is soft and couldn’t handle Thibs in Minny with 1 media guy. Imagine him in NYC.

Also neither Towns or Beal are #1 options.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Page 18 of the NBA official rulebook:
Section VII—Held Ball A held ball occurs when two opponents have one or both hands firmly on the ball or when a defensive player touches the ball causing the offensive player to return to the floor with the ball in his continuous possession which would result in a traveling violation.

Page 26:
Section VI—Other Jump Balls a. The ball shall be put into play by a jump ball at the circle which is closest to the spot where:

(1) A held ball occurs . . .

So it's a jump ball at the Nets' basket.

There has to be a call made for the play to be reviewed. It's one of those stupid quirks.

The whole irony of a non-call is actually a call that no contact was made, so the rule falls flat on its face.

Actual there was a travel called on Randle. They can't review that?

I mean Knox was a lottery pick too and has been reduced to DNPs, he's still younger than toppin is, and they didn't care to bench him. I'm just saying he's shooting 40% from 3 this year, which is at least something. what's toppin giving us, especially playing in this role that doesn't suit him at all? Not saying he's the answer to our problems or anything but Toppin has been irredeemably bad

Sooner is better. Honestly, still looks absolutely lost. He was getting pushed around in the paint, getting picked off, no resistance. Maybe if the Hawks trade John Collins we can flip Obi to them for Okongwu. Yeah I know.

Not mad at Thibs for drawing the play for Julius (and clearly the hand off action to Burks), but we all know IQ should have had that final shot.

knox is already deemed as a sunk cost in terms of getting value as a lottery pick. Obi still has that fresh lottery value I’d think. Benching him now would hurt his value. Cause honestly, he shouldn’t see the floor most nights
