They did a terrific build and push with him! MVP has also been a key part as his mouthpiece.

I also love that we didn’t really know what was going on and still don’t leading up to WM. Could be Lashley versus Drew. Could be Lesnar added in. I doubt Miz is involved at WM but he will definitely be involved leading up to it as well.

Well deserved for Bobby Lashley. Don't understand why he wasn't being used like this since he was brought back, he's so money. Is the Hurt Business the best stable in pro wrestling today? They might be.

If they were going to go that route, they should have at least given Miz a match or two in between getting murdered by Lashley so he could get a few wins. That would have made Lashley squashing him more meaningful.

Would’ve made Lashley squashing him more meaningful, and would’ve given Miz something of a rub — if only a minor one.

I’ve been calling for them to pull the trigger on Lashley for months now. Didn’t watch last nights show because I figured they were gonna have Miz weasel out of the match/have a crap finish. But I’m excited. Well deserved. He looks amazing. Moves like a guy half his age (and size) and has a great faction behind him.

I didn't watch last night either but I read a recap this morning. Sounded like a pretty dreadful show other than a great McIntyre/Sheamus match and Lashley winning the title.

But yeah, they should have given Miz a good, clean win or two between stealing the title and dropping it to Lashley, because as it stands I don't think Lashley really gained much from the way they booked it since Miz pretty illegitimately won the title and then was a total coward for two weeks before quickly dropping it. Just makes Miz look like crap and Lashley gains no cred by squashing him as a result.

Agree about Lashley deserving the title, though, so don't take my criticism of how they did it as an indictment of him. He's looking fantastic of late.

I wouldn't call it dreadful. If you're a fan of the Orton/Bliss thing, you probably liked that. I'm not a fan, but I think both of them did a nice job of acting and setting things up for Bray's eventual comeback. They've pretty much officially ended Rick Flair's involvement with Charlotte - she said she talked with him and sent him home. She had a good match and beat Shayna. Does it really bother people that Charlotte isn't a heel or a face? Apparently Shayna legit kicked out 1 of Asuka's teeth in the tag match last week and possibly injured her with that kick, so if you had any doubt she would lose to Charlotte, shame on ya. Yes, it'll almost certainly be Charlotte vs Asuka in Wrestlemania.

Well, as I said, didn't watch it, so I'm just going by the recap, which mostly only highlighted the aforementioned Drew/Sheamus match and Lashley winning as the highlights. From the sound of the review I read, Charlotte basically just squashed Shayna, but again didn't see it so can't say for sure. I wasn't aware about the stuff with Asuka, so I guess that makes sense, but that doesn't mean it was entertaining, and nothing about the Nia/Baszler pairing is entertaining. It's a great wrestler who had a great gimmick in NXT but isn't much on the mic paired with the least talented woman on the roster who only functions as an anchor around Shayna's neck.

I honestly don't care about Bliss at all at this point. I think they've basically squandered the Fiend and killed everything that was special about him in typical WWE fashion via bad booking and a failure to fully commit to the character/gimmick. The hell in a cell match with Rollins pretty much officially ended any interest I had in him, and that match itself was a highlight of awful WWE booking where the ref stopped the fight in a f*cking no holds barred match. Garbage. They should have either never put him in a world title feud or had him go on a dominant championship run.

If you're going to do that, might as well throw Sheamus in there too and make it a full on hoss fight. Sheamus has earned a spot there too, imo.

He probably has earned it, but does anyone really want to see it? I think WWE has to boost his rep some way - have influential people say good things about him. Drew has, but Drew keeps beating him.

Wwe may want to pivot if their plan was a transition heel run for Lashley. The booking of the match totally made him a babyface and the IWC is giving him all the babyface love at the moment. Lasher seems like a good dude. He deserves a proper run.

Why is this even a thing? Braun's not getting any love from fans and Shane won't have anything to gain from Braun?

Tonight’s Raw really reminded me of why I took a long hiatus from WWE...

First of all what was the point of the Hurt Business losing the tag team titles to the New Day? I just don’t get it, the Hurt Business was hot heading into the match & they made an embarrassment out of them Smh. So instead of the Hurt Business getting a rematch it’ll be the New Day vs AJ Styles & Omos at WrestleMania, just stupid booking.

Second I knew Drew would get his rematch but that’s the main event for WrestleMania? Talk about boring, WWE could’ve came up with a more creative way to build up the WWE Championship match between Lashley & Drew

And last Braun vs Shane just may be the worst thing I’ve seen in Wrestling history, just awful :nonono:
