Sam Vecenie just published a new mock, with us picking Ayo with #18, Jalen Johnson with #20 and Louisville's David Johnson #32. Lots of interesting names in the 2nd round. Boston and Hyland #34&#35 respectively, Marcus Bagley #38, Terrance Clarke #39, David Duke #42, Isaiah Todd #45 to name a few that got mentioned in here.

Knicks may become a multi-mamba team? Maybe the Knicks can even find a mini mamba too.....

Ayton. Simmons. Embiid.

That's it, going back more than a decade.

I'm not sure of your assesment. I think the question should be, out of the top 20 players in the nba were top 5 picks. I'm sure the number is very very high.

Also you comment doesnt take in to account that top 5 picks leave teams to go to a big market We are the biggest market If we are winning and have a great culture I don't see any pick looking to leave NYC

Also had to add the players who were drafted below top 5 were projects who panned out. Doesn't seem the knicks want to draft projects. Looking for more established guys who need less time to develop. Hence drafting an older Obie who was supposed to be the most NBA ready.

Here's a random list of the top 20 players in the NBA

LeBron, Harden, Embiid, Giannis, Curry, Kawhi, AD, KD, Dame, Jokic, Kyrie, Butler, Doncic, PG, Booker, CP3, Tatum, Brown, Mitchell, Gobert

Out of this list only half are top 5 picks. We already have two high lotto picks on this team performing at a high level (RJ #3) and Randle (#7).

But that is my point. We don't need to tank for a top 5 pick when we can attract one in FA or in a trade. We need to build a culture and wait till a superstar wants out, then we pounce

Here my counter we could attract a star in a trade, FA, AND the draft.

This draft is giving me 1996 vibes, completely stacked from picks 1-17. We’ll be picking 18th and 19th ofcourse and will end up with John Wallace and Walter McCarthy 2.0

If they are available to be picked at 32th, we will take a Kentucky guy (Clarke or Boston) for sure.

I like that 18 and 20 for us.

That second round is a bit stacked.

I haven't been in here much lately and someone prolly already responded to this but... I wouldn't do it.

• Major concerns with his shot, has that lean back hitch in it

• Questionable range

• Terrible percentages

• I think as a penetrator he will have big problems finishing inside over NBA length and may not get the calls from NBA refs to bail him out the way he did from NCAA refs

• Due to lack of size he could have problems defensively. Although he does have very good lateral quickness and slides his feet very well. He impressed me the way he beats the offensive guy to the spot and draws charges. But his small statute is still an issue

Yo Melo, I've gotta hop off your Ayo Bandwagon. The ringers annual draft guide just got released. He's 15th on his big board. And you won't guess of what player his game has shades of. Small hint: he's the most hated player on our team right now

On a serious note, Bouknight is 13th on his board. If he doesn't go off too much in the tournament, there may be a chance to trade up for him. Fingers crossed!
