Re: PG Washington - 4 in a row, 9/10
Westbrook's jumpshot is infuriating. I don't think I would like rooting for him. Gosh him in a let it fly offense with the amount of iron he gets would be painful to watch.
He's obviously very talented, his finish at the rim, the attention he draws, his passing, all amazing. But ugh the amount of bad jumpshots.

DJ and DJ have to go
Trading DJA for a combo/PG who can shoot 3s at 38+% and has defensive versatility (defend 1-3) could be enough. But the guy has to be starter quality, even if they don't choose to start him.
Don't want him unless he can hit minimum 45%, preference being 55 actually.
Prudent.

Mikal Bridges and Chris Paul are the biggest reasons the Suns are an improved team.

Easy solution. Don't let him take a shot unless he's made up for it with a rebound.

Would I take the best player of four along with the worst? Of course.
Giannis/Beal/Westbrook would be UNGUARDABLE.

Nah, defenses will just pack the paint. Pairing Giannis with Russ is brutal floor spacing.

Westbrook is a negative. Beal vs Khris/Jrue is a better quesiton. Give me back the best of our role players over the last 2 or 3 years and I think I take Beal.

That doesn't mean Booker hasn't been a good player the whole time, or at least the last couple years once he got really good.

But I mean yeah let's trade our only other PG for a 2nd Donte to brick wide open 3s in the 2nd half when we're trying to close teams out, even Sh#tty ones.

Giannis/Beal/Westbrook would be UNGUARDABLE. That's a better than punchers chance against Brooklyn. As it is, we have little chance and are imminently beatable. At least Westbrook gives a crap, but either way you could move him if he doesn't work as a 3rd option. The prize is pairing the MVP with a real top class scorer for the first time in his career

I wouldn't want Westbrook teaming with Giannis because of Westbrook's lack of a consistent 3 ball. Giannis is at his best when surrounded with good 3 point shooters. Beal would be an excellent fit with Giannis.

We're considerably worse in trading Beal for Midds and Jrue.

They should be relying on smart lock down defense to close games out, creating stops and creating opportunities on offense for Jrue, Khris, and Giannis to get their shots through proper ball movement. If they are relying on a heavy dose of 3 point makes from the 4th or 5th option offensively then they are doing something wrong and it is not sustainable.
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

This is where I am at. I feel we are on par with Philly but not the Nets.DavidDunn21 wrote:I think Westbrook is an aging loser.msiris wrote:Would anyone rather have Beal and Westbrook over Mids and Jrue?

I mean in this hypothetical trade couldn't we find a 3rd team for Westbrook? What's his trade value these days? Neutral value or still negative?
Beal would be such a disgusting #2 paired with giannis I'd do it if we didn't have to play Westbrook (or pay a random to dump him).

I also noticed last night when Augustyn was in as PG he missed about 3-4 obvious lobs to Gianni in the pick-and-roll, he was just too timid to let it fly.

This is an underrated skill that Middleton has. Khris is always looking for lob in all the right places.

Funny your still trying to push your nonsense after a game that Donte was plus 24, which continues with his trend, while Forbes was a negative again, in an 11 point win, continuing his trend.
