F**k it let's just get Nance just to piss off the TT Theis fanboys.
I'll take this rotation over the current:
Rob/Nance/ Tacko (break glass in case of emergency)

Celtics guard Kemba Walker remains a favorite of Magic coach Steve Clifford, but it’s unlikely Boston, without much depth behind Walker, will part with him at this point.

If the magic don’t beat the Knicks there’s a real good chance that come the day of the deadline they are on like 12-13 game losing streak- I understand the market and I understand not taking **** deals but they suck they should sell off everything get a top 4 pick come back next year with him and others healthy and build a team.
Vucevic is a 30 yr old all star having a career year- sell. Gordon is leaving in free agency and wants our- sell. Fournier serves no purpose- sell. Don’t complicate things Jesus Christ

Come on, man. If they're trading for Kemba, it means they want to win. Doesn't make sense to send Vuc back. At least aim lower?

If we are able to trade Kemba in a non salary dump trade, I’d eat my shoe.

Pritchard and Teague are what you have if you take Kemba and remove everything good about him.

Theis is also a playoff liability. I'm over seeing another wide open three being bricked by this guy over and over. I'm over seeing him being absolutely abused by bigger and more athletic skilled centers.
The move is to at minimum move one even possibly both and trade for upgrades to back up Rob. Among my worst fears is pastor Brad reverting back to playing his binkie Theis and sitting Rob because of "matchups".
Stop the madness they won't be missed.
You stop the madness.
I'm too lazy to look it up but TT must be leading the team in rebounds. He can score a little bit with no plays called for him just getting put backs and that little hook shot.
This idea that we could just get rid of these guys and be fine is beyond silly. I feel like some of you think its so simple, just get rid of Theis and TT and play Rob the whole game, and Brads a fool for not seeing it. I don't think its Brad who is the fool.
Based off that you got that I inferred playing Rob the whole game?![]()
Theis and TT are not solutions so if you can't see that I can't help you, you suck at basketball and I won't waste my time explaining. They are JAGS, and will get exploited in the playoffs.
I'm not for any major trades, Barnes is totally fine assuming the cost is not some overpay. Lose one of these bums at center find an upgrade for Rob insurance. Rob is the future.
Well that attitude is not going to help get you a date to the spring dance mister!
Also, I like how you say you are not going to waste your time explaining to me and in the very next sentence explain it more.
Stop the madness!

I will say I could see an interest in a Kemba/Vucevic combo at least on the offensive end. Would be funny if Celtics end up with Fultz
I put the probability of a deal at <5%.

The article states that all 3 of those guys are available and that they like Kemba.
Doesnt say about wanting to win, this year at least, they are better served to lose, get Fultz and Isaac back and run into next season with a high pick, Kemba, Fultz, Isaac

I'm not sure if this works but trade for Barnes (Nesmith and a lotto protected 1st) and Vuc (Kemba, Theis, +), then George Hill (with hopefully what's left of the TPE and a 2nd) and call it a day.

I go to bed resigned to the idea that Ainge will do nothing at the deadline then I wake up reading these rumors making me think, "umm maybe we make a move??"

If the Celtics get a good deal they would do it now.

Who among here will be content with the team doing nothing instead?
Which I think is the likelier outcome.
I'll be content with it because it seems to be the most likely outcome. MAybe tied for most likely is a very small trade or minor Free agent pick up. Of all the names that have been trown around, I don't see any of them putting us on the same level as the Lakers or Nets.
A small move would be nice. Get someone so we don't need Grant Wiliams in the playoffs. We just have to hope that we start to gel before the playoffs. We could beat the Bucks or 76ers in a series. If we play well and are rolling. We would need an injury to a key player or great luck to beat the Nets or Lakers, but it could happen. But I see our chances of it happening not really changing with any of the moves menioned here.
Pie in the sky (but yet somewhat realistic) trade targets: Ball, Crowder, DMC and Rondo. Other guys like Barnes and the orlando guys I just haven't watched enough to really have a good feeling on how much they would help. But I suspect it really comes down to Tatum and Brown playing like MVPs for us to get farther than last year.

Kemba/Neismith for Fournier/Gordon.
Pretty much fixes a lot. Cap flexibility moving forward and we get so much better on defense
