I wouldn’t personally be interested in AG. I’d rather keep Bey in the starting lineup and keep developing him.

Gordon to Minnesota should happen. Gordon to here, please no. I think he’s a good player, I just think it’s be a weird move to invest so much to get bey keep him on the bench behind Gordon and Grant

Lets not forget that they're asking a considerable price for Gordon. Who's to say Bey wouldn't be part of that price?

There's just no way.

There's nothing whatsoever about that article that screams "credible source". The Chris Hayes thing cited in the article doesn't even mention the Pistons, as the article implies it doesn't.

I sure hope not. This is his 4th straight year of scoring decline. We should be looking at guys headed in a positive direction.

I think he's a solid player and still has room to grow into something more than he is at just 25 years old. Not 100% certain how well he would fit next to Grant, but if you could add him for very little he would be worth considering for sure. Best thing is after this year, he just has one year at $16 million left so if he didn't work out it wouldn't be a long term disaster which makes it a low risk type move. Obviously he isn't worth giving up a first rounder for.

Who's to say he wouldn't have a resurgence like how Randle has had this year but even Randle never really declined or stayed completely stuck in neutral as how AG has been. I think he's definitely a guy that improves in a new environment since it looks like he's been wanting out of there just not vocally since year 3.

But I wouldn't trade for him since the Magic are playing hardball with both Vuc and AG, and they likely want young assets back

This makes zero sense for the Pistons. I'll just leave it at that.

I have no idea what we could offer Orlando to acquire him, I spent some time yesterday thinking about a deal, and I have no idea.

Man he just hasn't gotten any better at all since coming in. What does he even offer a team as a PF? Seems like just mediocre all over

This would only make sense if Weaver got him for cheap and flipped him for more before he expires. Orlando won’t give him up for cheap and won’t want anything to do with the pieces we want to sell. I don’t think of Gordon as anything more than a poor man’s early career Blake. He doesn’t make sense for us.

There's a story they consider Isaac and Fultz untouchable, which is hilarious.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Alot of this board considered Sekou untouchable last year. Not that funny when you consider that.

So, I heard this was actually him saying he wanted to come to Detroit. Not us as the party coming out interested. We are one of the teams he wants to play for.

I found that interesting.

I mean, if they’ll take Sekou and salary garbage for him, sure. Otherwise, nah.
