Let's get every single one of these games as much as we can.

About 32 games left for us, and Utah for instance.
They win about 75% of their rest of games. Means they end up with a 18 Loss column.

Which means if we need to stay around there.. about 5 to six more losses rest of the way.

I dont mind not having 1seed. But it does make a big difference if we are 2 seed or 4/5 seed. Playoff demands are much different in those brackets.
So we need to stay at 20 losses in total or less.

A major question about Adam McKay’s untitled Lakers series for HBO — who will play Pat Riley — has been answered. Oscar winner Adrien Brody has been tapped to star as the former Los Angeles Lakers head coach in the drama series based on Jeff Pearlman’s book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s. McKay’s Hyperobject Industries is producing.

Written by Max Borenstein, the Untitled Lakers Project is a fast-break series chronicling the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties — a team that defined its era, both on and off the court.

Brody joins a cast that includes John C. Reilly as Jerry Buss, Jason Clarke as Jerry West, Quincy Isaiah as Magic Johnson, Solomon Hughes as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Gaby Hoffmann as Claire Rothman, Hadley Robinson as Jeanie Buss, DeVaughn Nixon as Norm Nixon, Molly Gordon as Linda Zafrani, Rob Morgan as Earvin Johnson Sr., Spencer Garrett as Chick Hearn, Kirk Bovill as Donald Sterling, Delante Desouza as Michael Cooper, Stephen Adly Guirgis as Frank Mariani, Tamera Tomakili as Earletha “Cookie” Kelly and Joey Brooks as Lon Rosen.

Wow, who the hell is this Layman dude. Back-to-back blocks on LeBron and Morris and then takes the ball coast to coast for a layup  :nonono:

D Jones should've been all over that lay up by Layman.

Still though, I'm thinking we ride with D Jones instead of emptying our roster for Myles Turner... I like how he plays, if he could just get a little better at blocks.

Nice win. Keep it up.

Good to see a heavy scoring production from a limited roster. Morris bron kuzma harrel tht Schroder. 137 points is huge.

But then again this is Minnesota

Imagine giving up 121 points to the worst team in the league. Well at least they got the win.

Yeah... THT seems to have developed some nice chemistry on Picks and rolls with Kuz, Trez and LeBron...

On the flipside, I still get nervous as hell when Schroder dribbles into traffic and tries to pass... His handles and his vision in traffic are just not the greatest. Especially for a small guy...

What's going on with the extension?

Any chance he's traded?

No idea what's going on with the extension. Sure, he could be traded, but I think it's highly unlikely. They way he's talked about, I feel like I'm the only one seeing him loose the ball or throw it away in traffic. He seems really comfortable with the team and they seem to like him.
That said, if they LOVED him, they'd probably already have come to terms on the extension... 8-) So anything is possible.

If you traded Schroder though, you'd need to get a PG back... And a pretty damned good one... So who would that be? Beal?
There really aren't that many move where trading Schroder makes sense.

Maybe Schroeder+KCP for Lowry

Lowry, Matthews, LeBron, Davis, Gasol
Caruso, THT, Kuzma, Markieff, Harrell

Team loses depth and relies upon THT more..

Lowry (37) | LeBron (11)
Caruso (28) | THT (20)
LeBron (26) | Matthews (14) | Kuzma (8)
Davis (21) | Kuzma (17) | Markieff (10)
Harrell (22) | Davis (16) | Gasol (10)

The way his deal is structured he gets the most money and years in free agency. He would have shorted himself money before February and years. He shorts himself by not signing until this summer if he signed an extension now because his current deal has incentives that Atlanta put into his money years ago.

The bulls have a similar issue. Lavine could sign an extension at any point but he doesn’t stand to make more by signing one than he can make if he waits to his deal
Is out and he gets himself another all star appearance and possible all nba team which puts him in another money bracket.
