Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Trading Foles then? If not, I don't see the point in adding Dalton. Typical Bears lol

Foles back to Philly I guess would make some sense. But I have to think Dalton was really not interested in Chicago for it to cost this much.
Dalton 'Tell them I am not interested'
Agent 'Well why don't we just throw a stupid number out there and see'
Dalton 'aghhhhhhhhh fine, ummmm, 10M plus incentive bonuses'
Agent 'C'mon now And....'
Dalton 'You said a stupid number, you got a stupid number'

There is going to come a time when the Bears finally get a franchise QB and torch us. Hopefully that's beyond our lifetimes. Until then, I'm going to enjoy their misery.

What in the world are the Texans up to now? 12.5M for Tyrod Taylor? So where is Deshaun Watson being traded?

I was thinking the same thing then I thought they might be digging in to play hardball. Go ahead and sit out we’ve got a viable stop gap while you’re losing millions. Could help their position.

Bears to Seattle: we will trade you two firsts for Russell
Seattle: include Mack and it's a deal
Chi: never mind we got Andy Dalton

I think the Jets and Dolphins can put together the best package for Watson. You can get Darnold and picks or Tua and picks.

The Lions got a bargain. Hard runner, great blocker, good receiver, great locker-room guy

Yeah I feel bad for him. I know it's weird feeling bad for a millionaire...but he leaves everything out there. Went to a horrible organization for only 3.75 mil per.
At least he didn't go to the Bears.

He will get a bigger contract in 2 years because his usage will increase a lot.

So (supposedly) Carolina offered three firsts for Watson, including pick 8. If you are Houston and don't take that....that tells me you don't trust yourselves to draft well.

Or that they’d rather have Watson

Could be, but I can't help think that Houston has no flaming idea of what they're doing. The owner is a meddler and the GM is new to the job.

Well if you wanted Watson it would have been better to stop trading away all of your draft picks only to trade one of the top 3 wrs for a broken down RB and a 2nd rounder. At this point it's too late, take what you can get and start over. Three firsts including the #8 pick this year? I am taking that at this point.
