So, I hadn't even considered that benching White / Carter might also be a way of signaling to league execs that the Bulls are open to win-now trades

We’re also directly telling teams that the PG and C positions are what we’re looking to upgrade based on which players got benched. Not exactly rocket science since it’s been pretty obvious all season, but it will have some effect to WCJ’s and Coby’s trade value.

When journalist thinks, and when they say executives, according to sources they really only speculate. If it is not from Woj or Shams hard to believe. Woj got Bulls moves at point, and our insider KC missed every Bulls move since AK hiring.

The front office might as well swing for a grand slam and offer Sato, White, Carter, Felicio, and the same type of picks package the Clippers gave up for PG for Dame. Then trade OPJ and a 2nd for Drummond

Dame/Arci
Lavine/Valentine
Williams/Hutch
Mark/Young
Drummond/Gafford

and after everyone says no trade arci and temple for rondo then Carter, OPJ and a 1st for Vucevic

Rondo/Sato
Lavine/White
Williams/Hutch
Mark/Young
Vucevic/Gafford

WCJ was in the starting lineup to start the 2nd half tonight... So i guess he is untouchable now?

Dipo with 33 on 13-20 tonight.

He already turned down an extension. I think he doesn’t bring anything of value back. Maybe a late 1st or early 2nd. If he doesn’t get traded he will be bought out for sure.

We don’t have much to trade... Simonivic, Hutch, 2nds

Pau was a really good player when he played on the bulls but of course many here would wine about his defense and didn’t appreciate his unique style of play.

Vucevic is kind of similar will score a lot but is no rim protector. I loved Pau and always wanted Vucevic to come here. Problem is Orlando won’t just give him away, bulls would have to give up a big asset player or pick to get him. Fournier would also be nice to have but probably asking for too much at that point lol.

IDK, 2 1sts feels like a lot for a 30 year old C. That said, WCJ probably has negative value right now. ORL seems interesting in guards right now, so maybe White or Sato would be more interesting to them. Fournier is an expiring, FYI.

Lauri pairs well w Isaac.

WCJ could probably fetch a young guy with potential... Culver

Bulls 1st.

Lauri, Culver and a 1st... Not enough IMO

There is no combination of CHI assets that gets Lillard.

Seems Dipo has made it known he wants Miami. And I’m still not sold on him ever being a star again.

What about offering our 1st for John Collins? And before you guys start flaming me, consider that the last 3 years, we have tanked and masturbated over draft picks. The payoff? WCJ, Coby and Patrick. Total wasted years. Much rather start doing what the smart teams do, trade picks for actual players.

I really hope Bulls go all in to trade for Vuc and worst case go after Myles Turner.

I really want us to trade for 1 of those 2. That would be huge for Bulls success this year and beyond.

I'm now in the get whatever we can get for White now mindset. I don't see a future NBA starting talent there. What about:

White/Hutch/Gafford/Felicio for Bamba/Ross?

Pacers have stated that they aren't shopping Turner unless that changes within the next nine days...

It would probably be better to let him cook with the 2nd unit for the rest of the year and move him at the draft.

You make that kind of trade with the expectation that you're signing him in the offseason. Yes, he's restricted but there would have to be commitment from the team that he's a smart of the future.

It would also mean that Lauri would be on his way out.

Coby White, WCJ, and a first rounder package for Vucevic. It’s a decent package. They get a first rounders and two young prospects who could either be tank commanders or solid players down the road for them.

Pacers are not giving us Turner for anything we realistically would offer. He is available as much as Zach is meaning he really isn’t.

I would not trade anything for Collins. What if you give up that pick and it becomes top 3 pick or he gets hurting or some other issue and you don’t want to resign him? Either get him in RFA or not at all. Also he wants a max and isn’t a max talent. I’d rather keep Lauri.

With Sato being big enough to guard most 3's...Dipo becomes interesting. I'd prefer to bet on him vs. Lauri, on a 4/$100 deal. I'd offer up Carter, White and expirings.
