Weirdly enough Haynes notes that Detroit + Houston are potential buyers for Aaron Gordon

I have no idea who Milwaukee’s GM is, but he’s had a weird six months. Bet they wish they’d have given us three firsts for Chris Paul right about now instead of having holiday and pj friggin tucker for 5 first rounders.

Not 5 FRPS. Both were overpaid (mostly Holiday) but they basically gave up an early second for a late FRP.

Houston is in a better spot than us for the 2021 draft (depending on lottery luck of course). Potentially a top 4 pick and two 20-30 picks. Could get more with moving Oladipo...

So the Rockets aren't planning to make a full rebuild (at least for now)

Wish we had good valuable pieces to trade in order to remove the swap protection :(

Pretty good night with the Cavs & Pistons winning.

Guess the Kings W is good as well...just wonder how long the Wizards will still try to win games (maybe they won't stop trying thanks to the play in)

Other than Houston, most of these other teams should continue to win a few games here and there. If there is any justice in the world, we’ll get Houston’s pick at number five.

Tonight is shaping up as a good night for us. Sacramento, Orlando, Golden State, one of either Detroit or Houston winning, and Miami down by almost twenty heading in to the fourth.

yeah some bad teams like Detroit winning some games lately is pretty good. Main issue is that we got 3-4 extra win that we could have avoided by starting the ''tank'' in time. Wolves are improving as well but the gap is too big.

Think Houston will end up with the worst record in the league so...48% of pick n°5 or a terrible pick...

Look at it this way. Even if Houston finishes with the worst record in the league, that gives us the best odds at the 5th pick, which is the best pick we can get from okc. And if we end up with the Miami pick, that's still likely a better pick than we thought it would be at the beginning of the year.

Nothing involving the Thunder here, but interestingly the Rockets seem to be pushing for Gordon. Their owner didn't strike me as the type that would be ok with losing this many games in a row, so I'd expect them to try to be more competitive going forward.

Hope the Heat wins the Lowry bidding so they could give us something for Hill...

Tough to find another trade partner than Sixers/Clippers for Hill. Don't think Portland wants him.

I don't. Lowry will help them a lot. The east is close enough that move could hurt our pick quite a bit.

The East is close but Miami is finally healthy so they are doing what we expected from them...gonna end up 4th or 5th barrying a serious injury.

But yeah, Lowry to Miami could cost us 2-3 spots in the draft.

Not sure I trust those rumors but Shams said that the Hawks are looking to trade for Lonzo...if they want to pay Lonzo & Collins, they certainly need to trade Bogdanovic (could get more value this offseason though)

Maybe they get Lonzo but think John Collins and Bogdanovic will stay for now...gonna be easier to make a decision this offseason (team doing well with new coach, trying to rehab Bodgdanovic trade value after his injury etc.)

Oh good. Potentially more tanking competition.

Might be the most surprising action of the trade deadline if they go in the tanking direction, Indiana's always taken pride in the fact that they have never had one of the worst records. Splitting up Sabonis/Turner makes sense though, and they could get quite a bit more for Sabonis at this point.
