Dang anthony edwards is going nuts post all star break, he's averaging 30ppg on pretty good percentages albeit its a small sample size. I felt pretty sure he'd be a star with as much raw talent and athleticism as he is eventually, but it looks like it might be as soon as next season.

haven't seen a player as explosive with the ball as edwards in a while. maybe westbrook is the last guy that i can think of thats close. His upside is ridiculous.

Great game by Edwards though, I hope he succeeds for the Wolves fans sake

ive said it before I'm rooting for the kid. the energy Anthony Edwards plays with is intoxicating. He really enjoys playing even if its not his favorite sport. With top trainers and a killer work ethic its not crazy to think he cant be top 10 in a year or two.

Edwards already has more 20-point games under Finch than he had under Saunders. Let that sink in...

A top pick Rookie gets better as his first season goes on...not really mind blowing. Finch is the only person that I know of that has asked him to drive nets more and shoot less. Yet he just took 31 shots last night. I think Edwards is just a freight train and the rest of us are just going to be along for the ride.

Almost sounds like a very tiny approval from the biggest Edwards hater ;).

Where did Anthony Edwards say that basketball isn't his favorite sport? It's football...correct? I haven't read the direct quote, but I get the feeling that it's blown out of proportion. Just because he prefers football doesn't mean he's a slacker or won't do good in the NBA.

Just reality of what he's showing. He's got enough talent to do a lot of things. He's got enough clout being a #1 pick on this goof troop team to attempt to do it his way no matter the team around him or coach infront of him. I just hope his consistency can get as big as his head real soon because what happened last night can't be walked back in his head. Only a loss anyway would have had someone point out the difference in efficiency and teamplay between him and Towns. With a win it's just time to wave the hope flag and denounce anyone pointing things like that out. I'm kind of excited like others to see if he can bring that level of play in the rest of the games this year. I don't know what the rest of the team will do, maybe just complain like a Pippen, but we'll maybe find out.

I think some have latched onto that as a literal statement that he won't care enough to become his best at basketball. Others have seen that as an example of someone with no filter on his brain which is it's own concern. But his play on the court can speak louder for him than his words. If our recent president is any gauge you can say just about anything these days and nearly half the population will side with you and half won't. But it's what you do that gets the majority to buy in.

I thought that Obi Toppin was a problematic prospect, but the guy I am bummed about is Aaron Nesmith. I don't know if he just didn't recover well from his injury well, or if he just isn't developing well, but I thought he would be better than he is, this year.

FWIW I'm pretty sure Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's favorite sport was always baseball, and I'd say he ended up having a decent career.

Inconsistent rookie is inconsistent.

11/10/6/7 turnovers on 4-18 shooting.

PHX packed the paint on him after going off for 42 the night before.

Let's see how he bounces back against OKC

True that. 6 assists is a good temporary counter to the "he's a chucker" crowd tho.

On a 6:7 assist:TO ratio he may be better off chucking
