I'm watching Neemias Queta in the Utah St. Tx Tech game. The guy is extremely long but not particularly quick of foot. He has a good sense of where to be though, and is a surprisingly good passer.

His slightly pigeon-toed gait reminds me of Dikembe Mutombo. Physically, he's kind of halfway between Mutombo and Bismack Biyombo.

This is the first time I’ve been able to watch a full Utah State game against good competition. They totally suck, but Neemius Queta is absolutely the real deal. I think he has 7 blocks and 5 assists about 3/4 of the way through this game.

Again, his team is awful. He’s playing by himself

He finished the game with 11 points, 13 boards, 5 assists, 7 blocks and 1 steal (and 5 turnovers).

Man, a 15th seed already loses - those 2 guys on Oral Roberts can really shoot. I only had Ohio State winning 2 games, so I'm ok - which is what's important. So far, that's the only game I missed (as I jinx myself).

Same here. I did not have much faith at all in Ohio State. I had them losing in the next round as well.

Cade is still #1 in my book. Mobley might be the option at #1 based on team need.

Man, Michigan is just running a clinic on how to play to their strengths. They're just feeding the post EVERY SINGLE POSSESSION and Texas Southern has no answer. Just incredible patience and discipline by the guards.

Unimpressed by Bouknight. Decent handle and solid athleticism but I don't by the shooting and neither did Maryland.

I need my non-elite shot creators to be able to shoot otherwise were talking Marshon Brooks/Jordan Crawford types.

His form looked good, but his jumper wasn't falling, and frankly - he would have had a worse game if the officials didn't bail him out a couple of times.

Illinois vs Loyola... wow. It's tough playing a team with Krutwig, because ya just assume he's a big doughy goofball. You're not prepared that he can do things like knock the ball out Ayo's hands. He's actually a skilled player who not only gets his teammates excited but completely befuddles the opposition. I don't think that'll work in the NBA, but it definitely does in college. That was fun, but poor Illinois. Big Kofi did real well offensively, but his defensive deficiencies were obvious. Tough game for Ayo - he was obviously the focus of Loyola's defense.

Terrific comparison, Bouknight does remind one of Jordan Crawford. Never met a shot he wouldn’t take. I did not say make.

I'm starting to like Davion Mitchell more than Jared Butler. He's not really an elite penetrator and defense-bender, but he would be great as the nominal PG alongside a playmaking wing like Doncic, Jimmy Butler or Harden. He's an incredible defender, a reliable shooter, and has a point guard mindset to keep his teammates involved. He looks like a Kyle Lowry/Jrue Holiday/Eric Bledsoe type of player.

All that said, he is 22.5 years old already. That's gonna detract from his draft value.
