Re: RS 20/21 - Mavs @ Blazers part II (Sund. 10PM EST)
Dorian Finney-Smith (personal reasons) will be available for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Finney-Smith missed the Mavericks' last two games in order to be present for the birth of his child. DFS should be back in the starting lineup Sunday night, which would likely push Tim Hardaway Jr. back to the bench. However, this does not mean that Hardaway Jr. would lose fantasy value, as Dallas would still need his scoring. Managers who have him rostered should hang onto Hardaway Jr.

More of the same as last time...
They can't sop anyone in the paint.

KP and Maxi, both totally lost on defense at the start of the game.

The lack of competent bigs that the Mavs have is why we have the record we do

Doncic is now so bad at FTs that he misses 3 out of 2... WTF...
I don't think I've ever seen that.

I know man. His inability FTs consistently (actually the whole team suck at this too) is one of the primary reasons why the Mavs lose close games. He will never be truly clutch for this reason.
The worse part is he's handicapping one of his best attributes which is the ability to draw fouls (especially when he posts up). Some games he leaves like 3-5pts of the board because of this. It's maddening.

Once he gets to 80% though, he will be the indisputable best player in the league

He'll have to get in better shape for that to happen, because his FTs are dipping every year as the season progresses. I'm still waiting.

The Mavs are missing some easy shots in this game.

It’s pretty sad how committed this front office supposedly is to Porzingis. They owe it to Luka to look to upgrade his 2nd option

Re: RS 20/21 - Mavs @ Blazers part II (Sund. 10PM EST)
I'm probably too hard on them, but even if they lead by 11 and scored 65, I feel like they left a lot of points on the floor and could have a bigger lead.
Let's hope they finish the game well this time.

The problem is that they can't sell low on him. He still has more potential than anything they can get for him. What could they get that would make them a contender?
I thought they overvalued him when the trade happened, but now they have to keep pushing and hope KP from the bubble comes back.
Anyway, it doesn't seem like the Mavs care about being a contender, if they did they would develop the young guys instead of going for guys like James Johnson and Trey Burke... They are either happy about a middle of the road team or they're too dumb to understand the importance of player's development for a franchise that doesn't attract big free agents.

I still think the trade was a steal from the Knicks considering nothing of true value was actually given away other than a couple picks likely in the 20s, but for all of those front office guys to flat out say they’re not taking calls on KP is an injustice to Luka and the fans
