Looks like Gardner will play the role of Elfrid Payton on the Yankees.A guy that has no business being on the team yet he will be shoved down our throats because the front office believes that he is an everyday player.

I love Gardy but this has been true for the last 3 seasons.
He belongs on the team just not in this position
(Cut to when Gardy hits a walk off bomb and I gotta eat crow.)
It should be Clint’s job.

I would give Clint the job to start the season. It makes sense to build his confidence/development and also to keep Gardner fresh for August-October baseball where he tends to thrive. I'd be disappointed if I was a Yankees fan if he was to kick up dirt over this. I always thought of him as a team-first player.

It’s not his fault at this point, it’s Cashman’s fetish with him.

He's fine as a 4th OF. The last thing you need is the Red Sox signing him. We all know how that would work out.

Frazier needs to stop overdoing it in Spring Training or he is going to suffer a career ending concussion.

I hope Sevy can return to the pitcher that he was in 2018. Him and Cole at the top of the rotation is what I have been looking forward to for the longest.

Thank goodness. Take his time. We really need him ready to go for the playoffs. That's where he's most important. In the watered down AL East the Yankees should be able to land the best record.

This is freaking weird. Lebron James in now part owner of the Boston Red Sox. I guess you can expect him to start showing up at Yankees-Red Sox games. LMAO

Thor
Carasco
Luchessi/Peterson

Depends which squad can stay healthy.
DeGrom = Cole
Stroman = Taillon
Syndergard = Severino
Carasco > Kluber
Luchessi/Peterson < German/Montgomery/Garcia

Stroman is so overrated.
He is very hit or miss and most recently more miss than hit.

He's had a great spring. Very locked in with his release point.
Also, I forgot we have Taijuan Walker.

I saw you guys scored 1 run in a game pitched by deGrom the other day, so much for run protection.
The Mets scoring runs is still an issue. The addition of Lindor is nice and I know he hit a grand slam the other day, so let's see how that plays out for you.

Spring training. Who cares except fans of those teams who are skeptical of their team's possibility of success going into this season.
