That was the year Shaq broke down also I believe. If the big fella had another 3 games in him we would have destroyed those bastards.

LeBron has been blessed by injuries to his opponents since always. Rondo and Shaq that year, D.Rose in Chicago would have been his main threat for years, last year both Jimmy and Bam go down. Dude got unlucky with K.Love and Kyrie that one year but overall his injury luck is remarkable.

Only injuries in my opinion that helped Lebron win a series that he wouldn't have won otherwise was probably to Golden State. Otherwise, Lebron thanks primarily to Lebron had the better team. Even in 2010 vs the Celtics...Celtics were better but Lebron was playing hurt.

Lebron himself has had a great body for avoiding major injuries and probably done a great job taking care of himself.

Other than that, his luck as an NBA player is probably below average if we are being honest. Some of that bad luck, he probably helped create by perhaps pressuring Cleveland to win/be competitive too early. Hard to build via the draft with crappy/mediocre picks.

But he has won championships since after losing to Celtics in 2010, he decided for his legacy he was better off just playing the super team game and acting ruthlessly in his own interests.

It has worked for him and its the real reason why he has won 4 championships.

But in all seriousness, he may have ended up with zero championships if he had stayed with the Cavs. The Cavs would have been too good to bottom out and even with Lebron, Cleveland wasn't really a free agent destination.

I disagree. Dude made the finals in like 10 straight years and the only one where he had to do it without one of his big guns was 2015 without Love..

Not saying he would have lost if D.Rose or George or Rondo were healthy, but it would have been tougher on him. Wade tears his ACL instead of Rose and how many titles does James actually have right now?
WHAT THEY GON’ SAY NOW? ‎ THANK YOU TRUTH!

McConnell is a fantastic passer. McDermott is a terrific cutter. Wish we had these types of players on our STARTING unit lol.

I don't see why PP and Nesmith couldn't become this.

Yeah, maybe someday. McDermott (7th season) and McConnell (6th season) didn't come into the league like they are now. I doubt they were playing like this in their rookie years. These two guys have built chemistry playing with each other off the bench for the 2nd year in Indy.

true, but both our guys have more ability than Indiana's. Need a strong minded coach to bring in out of them. I just want to see Nesmith, who ran off the screens a lot in college e given that same opportunity here. vs just standing around.

Man I just feel terrible for Silas. He doesn't deserve this, he went to Houston thinking he was getting to coach Harden and instead he has nothing and his team has lost 20 straight. He legit cried at the podium

Not sure what to trade But if I am Charlotte I would go heavy after Lonzo.

. could replace Lamelo for now.
. could play more of a PG when Melo SG, returns for playoffs or next year.

Rozier traded or 6th man.

team would have 2 dynamic passers with size for switching. Papa Ball may approve as well.

Could even sneak in a Jordan Brand sneaker contract on the low and make it even more profitable.

You don't really become one. You either have it in your DNA or not.

Jeez

Shame it didn't happen about a month from now. Call me what you want to call me, but I'd love to see this **** A hole out for the season. **** him and **** those bitch ass Lakers. That team has had enough damn luck in their history.

Agreed. It isn't life threatening. **** lebron, rot on the sidelines.

Yep, the guy will be back as good as new. Honestly, I don't wish for him to have health issues at all, but if it's something that he'd be back fully healthy from, I wouldn't mind him missing the playoffs either. Tired of the dude, wish he'd just go away. From his **** agency that recruits players to his team(s) to his fraudlent, self-absorbed persona, I can't wait for him to be gone.
Good assessment:

Paul Reed named G-League MVP with 22-12-2 with 44% from three

I had him real high on my Big Board, top half of the lottery, because he'd have been the perfect replacement for when Theis left. 6'9" great length, good defender who can PnR dive and pick and pop. Perfect fit really. Of course, abysmal drafting Danny Ainge passed on him 4 times. Let that sink in. He chose to trade out of the #30 pick and then take a draft and stash, over Paul Reed (and others). It almost completely negated his great Pritchard and Nesmith picks. The guy just can't get out of his own way. It's uncanny. This buffoon thought to himself "yeah, I'd rather have a 5'11" SG (Edwards) and a 6'6" PF (Williams) and a roided out Semi, than a guy with legit size/length for his position" So stupid. This is why we'll continue to be pretenders for as long as Ainge is our G.M.

I don't see why PP and Nesmith couldn't become this.

because PP's the same speed as McDermott but 6 inches shorter.

That seems like an exaggeration. Payton definitely looks quicker
