Danny Hurley was severely outcoached.

The blue Chippers have struggled so far. It's a shame Hurley couldn't see the adjustments his team needed to make because I would've liked to see Bouknight play again.

Hurley ran exactly two back door cuts for Bouknight in the second half. One led to an and 1 layup and one wasn't committed to.

I don't think it was anything different for Maryland--they switch everything and deny a lot of passes/play the passing lane.

Hurley did Bouknight absolutely no favors down the stretch once teams really started selling out to stop him. The supporting cast is quite poor--no shooters/spacers and they typically have two bigs clogging the lane. Very little room to operate for Bouknight. Still, he was never quite the same after the elbow surgery. He missed a lot of shots he usually makes. He's a prospect who will be helped tremendously by the NBA's style of play.

Still a bit worrisome that Bouknight doesn't show up in a game they needed him to though. Really like how this Jason Preston kid from Ohio is showing up in the big games.

Fronting the post so they could create that four player wall to stop Bouknight from getting to the basket was a good twist.

After watching Ayo a few times this year I thought maybe he was a kid who could be a late bloomer but I'm leaning towards him being a kid who just makes a lot of mistakes. Physically he looks great. He's still just a sophomore. He looked like someone who picked up the game late but now I'm not so sure.
