With Westbrook and Wood on the Rockets you would have seen in-game punches under the basket over rebounds.

Wall-Oladipo is truly the backcourt of hell.

Have become? Been like this for a few seasons already.

I was gutted by the trade, but I've come around on this deal, the Wizards made out like bandits.

Not only is Westbrook the better player, he's actually on the court.

Assuming he makes it through the season, Wall will have yet another offseason recuperating from knee surgery and rehabbing.

That'll make 2014 the last time he hasn't had to deal with recovery from injury.

It's John Wall he's pissed at. Wall for some reason doesn't like passing to Wood. There have been entires quarters, even halfs, where Wall and sometimes Dipo freeze Wood out of the offense. I think Wall has been so aggressive with trying to prove he's "back" that he often neglects his PG duties.

Wood as a big, relies on the guards to get him the ball. Wood is by far our most talented player, yet he's the 3rd option on offense.

Silas needs to speak up to Wall, and to a lesser extent, Dipo.

Houston were so close to winning a title with Harden, CP3 and D’Antoni in 2018. They were a hair from beating the all powerful GS team and then their window basically shut even though they tried the next year. Has any team ever fallen as hard as fast?

Why is he so unhappy, I thought he’s playing next to the next great superstar in Kevin Porter Jr?

For sure. They both overpaid and WB has some injuries but he's still playing at a way higher level than Wall.

I had Wall and 2 top 8 +/- protected FRPs for Westbrook before the trade happened.

Westbrook is much better player than Wall. Wall has the worst contract in the league. Wizards won the trade.

He slips every screen. He doesn't realize that he would get the ball a lot more if he did that one simple thing

I think you just described wall from the games ive seen. Selfish player

But it really is because Silas doesn't demand that they set picks. No one on the roster does. In Washington, Wall was one of the best pick and roll players in the league and why he was always at the top in assist. When they run it in Houston, every player slips the pick so the defender stays on Wall and he never has an advantage. Therefore the play basically resets with Wall behind the 3pt line, everyone is still guarded, and all eyes are facing him. That means his only option is to just make a basic pass to a covered man, shoot a 3 with a defender on him, or iso. Wall is strictly an iso player in that system because they don't set picks. It's really that one minor detail that I think would change their whole team.

The rockets should trade him. They are tanking at a level that make thunder fans envious.

The team is going complete overhauled in off season ... so I see why

Jonathan Feigen: Christian Wood: “We’re not playing together.” Said he needs more touches down the stretch. He took two shots in the fourth quarter.

This is Silas first HC job what do you expect him to do? This isn't remember the titans where Denzel goes to the captain and says who's your daddy?

there is not one single rookie coach that would fix this situation.

The Heat from 06 to 08, went from winning a chip to a first round sweep to 15 wins, tough to beat.

Even if Wood was involved the result will be the same anyway. Why even make that comment and make things look worse than it is?

Houston was playing Detroit too. Really bad veteran PG play by Wall to not look to get Wood the ball at every opportunity when he has his first game vs the team that let him go.
